Northwestern Hospital, specifically the Prentice wing, is a hospital known for its maternity care. Patients praise the attentive and friendly staff, describing them as informative and helpful throughout the birthing process. The hospital is mentioned as being a bit dated, with some furniture needing attention. However, patients emphasize that the quality of care received far exceeds any minor concerns about the building's aesthetics. Specific nurses like Alex, Claire, and Aly are highlighted for their exceptional support and care during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Anesthesiologist Dr. Dacosta is also commended for administering a highly effective epidural. Several physicians, including Dr. Auger, Dr. Alex, Dr. Mazzullo, Dr. Edelman, Dr. Mokashi, Dr. Ramirez, and Dr. Salasche, are acknowledged for their kindness, reassurance, and expertise during the cesarean section procedure. The post-operative care on the 11th floor is also praised, with patients noting the comfortable rooms, pleasant views, and surprisingly good hospital food. While some patients mention a negative encounter with a security guard on the 2nd floor, the overall experience at Northwestern Hospital, particularly for childbirth, is overwhelmingly positive. Patients express confidence in the hospital's ability to provide excellent care and support to new mothers and their babies.

I got a baby here and they won't let me take it back. It's ok, it's my best friend. They're saying my review is not long enough. Look, do not read Yelp to figure out where to get a kid.
