Customs line is horrible... almost a 2 hour wait and 5 lines open, could go on but with a line backed clear up to the hallway coming in you'd think they would have enough personnel.. much better experience at midway.....

For an airport as large as this you'd think they would have logistics figured out. But probably with added influx because Midway isn't that great either it gets bottlenecked here.Flew in and arrived early but it took being in taxi for like 30-45 mins to deplane or arrivals. For departure while not really their fault and moreso so SFO was delayed 4 times for a total of 3.5 hours with no accommodations or upgrade to lounge. Because I was at a gate at the end I didn't want to leave to go back to the main hub for food or other things. The outlets didn't work at the gate I waited at which made it more annoying and depressing. The ceilings are low and it's super hot from all the movement, energy and people's breathYeah not the greatest experience but travelers gotta travel, oh well. It did have a great view of the sunset from our terminal at least.

We ate a Macaroni Grill in terminal 3, food was good. Brooks Brothers right across the concourse has some quaint offerings.

I often travel by air, and I rarely have a reason to be in Terminal 5. However, tonight presented an opportunity for me to explore Terminal 5 as it undergoes renovations. As I arrived and stepped off the passenger boarding bridge, I was truly impressed. The terminal is stunning and expansive. I am looking forward to seeing the renovations once they are finished.

Airport is very big. Wish there were persons throughout to ask questions. Had an evening flight and finding the shuttle to lot for car pick up was a daunting task. Flight out was smooth because I remembered to go backwards. Pack patience and leave with plenty of time to get to the right spot.

Your airport may be relatively nice, but the attention of the TSA is the worst I have ever had.

Gigantic airport that is mostly recovered from covid. The handicapped service works very well. Most shops and restaurants are open now. The connection with CTA, the metro, is very convenient and it may even be faster than a car when there is a lot of traffic. I've done it both ways and the train should definitely be considered when you don't have much baggage.
