It was my last day in Chicago, and I was determined to pick up a few items from Patagonia. I arrived at the store just 15 minutes before closing, fully aware that it might be a bit inconvenient after a long day. Despite the timing, I was greeted with some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Sam assisted me with impressive product knowledge and a friendly, patient manner. He never made me feel rushed. I had time to think, compare, and make the right choice for me. Logan was also coordinating behind the scenes with Sam, ensuring my purchase went smoothly.
In the end, I walked away with a Nano Puff jacket and a sleek water bottle, perfect mementos of my trip to Chicago. Thanks to the team, what could have been a stressful last-minute stop turned into a truly enjoyable experience.

I bought 2 polos and a backpack today. Asked the staff if they were 100% cotton. They confirmed. Later I found out they are 65% cotton and 35% polyester

Super friendly and incredibly helpful staff! I visited this store twice during my month-long stay in Chicago while rotating at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as a medical student, and I wanted to update my experience. The sales team went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend stopping by and supporting this store—well worth a visit!

This Patagonia reflects the Patagonia ethos of always backing up their product and helping their customers. All the managers are compassionate, kind, and are so positive. There was also an african american tall guy who was at the checkout who was a ray of sunshine and such a good person. I’m glad I got to visit this location. I got reminded why I fell in love with them more than a decade ago, and asking myself why I even tried other brands with disappointing customer care.
I kept telling strangers to buy Patagonia jackets after my visit, all throughout that week! Ha

I went to replace my 12 year old Patagonia jacket that delaminated and had other signs of wear. It was a great coat, but it was time.
To my pleasant surprise, the manager said that the delaminating was considered a material defect. Even though the coat was more than a decade old, they replaced it with a brand new $500 jacket.
I felt like I was stealing and asked them three times if they were sure about their decision, which they confirmed. I felt so guilty, I bought a $50 hat.
I’ve always loved their products because of their practicality, fit, and style. Now I have one more reason to return.
