Not satisfied at all with my most recent Pep Boys experience at this location. As the 45th Ward Republican Association CommitteeMan I strongly suggest you avoid any service at this location unless you absolutely must. Horribly run front office, $200 battery replacement became a $450+ battery replacement. Coupons are useless. Can't pay with Google Wallet. Avoid & go elsewhere. Always ask for written estimate prior to work beginning.

The staff is cool, but this place is VERY pricey for the most simplest things.First time I went they charged me nearly 500 just for front brake pads and rotors. I only went to them because they are literally down the street from where I stay. What drew the line for me is the 2nd time I went to them for a tire changed the guy at the desk told me it was going to be about 5hrs but since I had time and stayed down the street I just left the car there. The guy calls me back less than an hr when he Clearly said 5hrs for a 30min job. Telling me he had to order my tire and priced me at $356 just to replace ONE TIRE? so I asked do they have any used ones. Then he said cheapest they got is 256. Still entirely TOO much for one damn tire. So I declined and told them just throw the spare on. I picked up my car and went to some Mexican shop near me.. they do it for only 65 took less than 30mins. Saved time and LOTS of money that day

Great service in a timely manor! The service team was helpful & kept me informed on status of my tire installation from start to finish with a phone call to let me know my car was ready!Only issue was the appointment I had made through Tire Rack, at time of tire purchase, didn't show up on the Pep Boys online site. Just needed to re-enter on Pep Boys online site. Uncertainty of the link disconnect between Tire Rack and Pep Boys sites.

The customer service was excellent. The representative explained everything in detail after the initial inspection was made. There was a price difference and he did an excellent job explaining why.

Came in for a Lyft inspection. While filling out form I was looking for my vin when person told me I didn't need my vin. He filled out the rest, stamped and signed it. My form was rejected for missing a vin. I brought my sheet inside to fill out vin and resubmit. The paper got wet while folded and pepboys stamp became unreadable. I went back to store to get a new sheet. Raul told me he was out of forms and wouldn't have them until Monday or Tuesday. This didn't feel right as the form is a generic copy. I called another pepboys to see if they would redo the sheet. They said no not without paying the fee. The manager also told me that Raul could just print the sheet off the computer as it is on the Internet. I called back this location hoping to speak to someone with a brain, but it was Raul again who insisted he couldn't print the form. A quick Google search of "Lyft inspection form" pulls up the forms ready to be printed.Raul chose not to replace my form. Raul chose not to look into the problem caused by my choosing pepboys. Raul proved yet again that pepboys employs bad people. Raul has ensured I won't be back.

Great experience with Pep Boys! I ordered new tires on the Friday before Labor Day weekend and chose Monday (Labor Day) as the installation date. First, I was surprised that they were open but I was also skeptical that my tires would be delivered in two days, on a holiday weekend, to be installed on time. I called the morning of my appointment and was told that the supplier was closed for the holiday and that they would call me to reschedule when the tires arrived. No problem - it's a holiday and I get it. Well, the tires arrived in the late morning on the next day - I dropped my car off at 3:00 without an appointment and they had it done by 5:00. The guys working there were super friendly. When the time comes for new tires, I'll definitely go back to Pep Boys.
