Terrible service, they said it would take 2 hours and it was more like 5 hours. The guy was rude, didn't say hello and was obviously the person who groomed my dog. He is not capable of handling stressful situations. He yelled at the dogs. My dog came home and didn't eat treats and sat in a room traumatized. I forgot the guys name otherwise I would mention it. I dont care about your policy “where I can't see my dog until don't pay” . He lied and made an excuse why it took so long. Again the man was absolutely rude and told me “ yeah we have had people walk out” imagine someone at petco saying nah go pay before you can see your dog.… maybe people are walking out without paying cuz of the service quality. For the record this happened on November 2nd in the afternoon

Unfriendly and admittedly inexpert regarding aquatics. This store was once my favorite. This visit was joyless. No smile, no hello. I was made to feel annoying after waiting for help to show, & stood for more than 15 min while the sole cashier talked with the woman ahead of me about rewards. Finally the unfriendly aquatics employee opened another lane. Still no greeting or thanks. Behind me, the man with frozen brine shrimp watched them thaw. Never again.

I usually go to the Clybourn location for everything (grooming, shopping, etc) however, this location had what I needed.. unfortunately. The day I planned on coming in to pick up my order, I received an email saying “Thanks for picking up your order.” while I was at work!! I call and the guy says “it might’ve been cancelled, but the order is still here so you can come pick it up.” I get off and go there only to have the associate tell me that “It’s not paid for yet.” I tried explaining to him that that had to be an error because I was charged and got this pick up email. He calls who I believe was the manager (short, short black hair, kinda soft voice and stomach) and the guy barely lets me get out a word! He walks up looking upset & instantly interrupts me trying to say from a distance that I’ll get a refund, but I’m trying to explain to him the email. He finally lets me talk, I show him the email and then he says “just take it. Just take it” You can tell he had an attitude.. I don’t appreciate the fact that I paid for this order, then on the day I was told I could still pick it up, they claim I didn’t pay and put a BIG NOTE on the bag saying “customer has not paid yet!” Trying to make me pay double for my order. It felt very fishy to me… This happened around 5:45PM, 5:55PM on 8/11/24 at the register.

Staff was friendly. Sally was great helping me with my neighbors dog that I took for grooming. Brook was the groomer she did a good job with Winnie who has a lot of shedding. Did have for Winnie to be brought out once I arrived and paid for the services.

Seems like a nice place with a lot of inventory and variety. Aisles are quite narrow.

Not sure what has happened during the 4hours that my dog was there but he is not the same since i took him back, he is scared, terrified, very aggressive ( behaviours he never had before), his nails were so bad cut, im covered in scratches, i cant even get close to him because gets very aggressive!

Waited 35 minutes for someone who acknowledged me to never come back and assist me. No purchase made here!
