Saleena and Jesslyn G are my go to groomers at PetSmart on Elston. I totally trust them with my Yorkie/Havanese. He always comes out looking so good. Groomed just the way I requested and smelling great. The grooming services here are very affordable compared to other grooming places in the area. I also like that they check that your dog is up-to-date on their vaccines and rabies shots. With all the diseases going around now between dogs, that gives me peace of mind. Thanks for taking such good care of my Sammy and we look forward to seeing you again soon !

Our experience was absolutely terrible..I showed her a picture of what he looked like after his last grooming..we were shocked when she brought him out to us. It was the worst grooming job I have ever seen. He had no hair left and his head was not blended in. He is a Maltese and was traumatized after his grooming..Do not take your dog here!

I accidentally ordered dog food from this location instead of Kingsbury (which was renamed S. Lincoln Park at some point). I didn't realize my mistake until I arrived at the wrong store and already clicked "I'm here" on the app. When I noticed my mistake, I immediately called the Lincoln Park location to explain the mix up and let them know I was on my way.First, the phone was answered by a woman who said she would transfer me to a manager when I explained the situation. A man answered and, after I explained the situation to him and gave him my name, he was quiet for a moment said there was no problem. I told him that I would be there in a moment and he said okay. When I arrived at the store less than 5 minutes later and called to pick up my order, an older man came out and told me that they had canceled the order and "she" was supposed to tell me it was canceled. When I tried to explain that I hand just gotten off the phone with someone, he cut me off and said "Well we canceled it so you're going to have to reorder..." There was definitely some hostility in his tone. I tried again and told him that no one told me they were canceling my order. He seemed surprised and said "I told her to tell you that we canceled the order when you got back on the line..." I explained that I was transferred to a man who told me everything was fine and no one mentioned canceling the order. At that point his tone improved and he said I had to reorder but he would get it for me immediately. He told me that the second person I spoke to was another cashier, not a manager. Unfortunately one of the items I ordered was the last in stock and, although it was right there in the store , it was no longer available for purchase. I ended up having to order from the other store anyway and drive back over there in rush hour traffic.I gave them 2 stars since he was willing to fulfill the order quickly for me and I did make a mistake ordering from the wrong store. I don't appreciate that my order was canceled without consulting or informing me and the poor communication cost me extra time and gas. No one should have assumed that I didn't want the order without me explicitly stating that. The cashier who was supposed to tell me the order was canceled should have called me back when she realized we were disconnected. At the very least, she should have told her manager that that the message was not delivered so that he wouldn't approach a customer expecting them to know what had been done. No fault to the young man I spoke to because I'm assuming the order still appeared active to him as it did in my app.

The people here are absolute gems. Sean stayed with us for ten minutes to talk us through the needs of our snake that we were concerned about. We hadn’t even bought it here, but he showed care and expertise that was just a life saver. I will be making this our pet store from now on. Thank you!!

Overall, Finn my 90 lb golden doodle looks good and he smells amazing. I was not crazy about the staff. They were not friendly and I felt guilty leaving my dog there for the 4 hours he was being groomed.I’ll pay the difference and take him to dashing dog, where I know he is well loved and the staff is friendly.

This place never has anything in stock when you order curbside pickup but somehow the items magically appear in the store when you go in and grab them yourself. Wow, magicians! Staff at this store act incompetent and are never eager to assist the customer. whenever I have gone into this store, I have barely been acknowledged or assisted and they’re usually not very hospitable at all. if you’re fine with going in to shop at a store and somehow knowing where everything already is, it being dead silent because staff say nothing to you, and getting in & out as if staff aren’t even there? Just had the best experience checking out with a cashier. I didn't get a chance to ask for her name but she shared about her tree frogs and we had the best experience. Thank you to whoever that was you made our night.

The PetSmart doggy daycare inside this facility is not a place I trust the safety and well-being of my dog. I rarely say things like this, but the place is truly run by incompetent staff who make the same mistakes over and over again. Different people will tell you different things, including corporate. You will give them second and third chances but they'll continue to drop the ball which will ensure wasted time and money and trust. I absolutely do not recommend leaving your furbaby here, if the staff can be this mindless when dealing with clientele, how mindless are they behind the scenes when tasked to take care of your pet? You get what you pay for, I guess.
