This location no longer has tellers…As of Sept 2021, this location is no longer considered a “traditional” PNC branch. An extremely nice staff member shared this list with me.

I switched to this bank since they have the old school safety deposit boxes. I have been there numerous times to conduct banking business and it is a very efficient operation. The tellers are extremely friendly and helpful and I have always waited less than a minute. Parking is easy for Lincoln Park, and they have a loading zone on the back side of the bank which customers use. I have interacted with the bankers too and they have been amazingly helpful and very professional. My only complaint is that the restrooms are marked for employees only, really!

1) Do to recent marriage changed my account to joint account with new wife. 2) My daughter was on account as a survivor or death benefit recipient. Errors committed by PNC Old Town and Lincoln Park to do something as simple as changing my account to joint account. 1) Wife was added using her maiden name? 2) Daughter was changed by bank, without my request or approval to joint owner??? 3) PNC sends me a letter saying they will close my account unless my daughter gives them her social security number. ( I called them and explained, they said they would fix it) 4) PNC closed my account anyway 5) PNC had me open a new account, so that we could transfer my funds to the new account. They were holding a couple of thousand waiting for checks to clear written to homeland security. 6) Checks bounced anyway???? 6) Funds did not transfer instead checks were mailed to me. (meaning my money was not available to me over Christmas, as well as the checks they said they would cover bouncing) 7) Called corporate when I received checks so I could get money into my new account. They said use the photo app and do the same day deposit. I began and saw it had a fee of $45, to use my money that PNC screwed with for a week. Cooperate said just do it, and call the branch and the VP can reverse the charges, no problem he saw my accounts and all of the screw ups and comments. He was extremely apologetic saying these branches definitely needed training. 8) VP says he cant reverse the charges. I have been banking with PNC for years. Recently an issue came up where one of the branches decided to make my daughter a primary on my account, when I made account joint after a recent marriage. My daughter had been on the account for a few years while I was single as was a death benefit recipient that is all. Never even had a social security number for her. At any rate PNC changed her to a primary on the account without my approval ? Then sent me a cancellation letter if I did not give them a social security number for her. I explained the situation and went to two different branches. Long story short I had to open a new account and they closed my old account despite having outstanding checks written. I explained to them the seriousness of this issue. I was ensured they would close the account but keep funds available to cover the outstanding checks. This did not happen $2000 of checks written to homeland security bounced. Further they wouldn't transfer my money to my new account. They insisted they had to send me cashiers checks. Again no money for anything until after Christmas thanks PNC. Now once I got the checks I called cooperate, they said to deposit them using my app and do the immediate transfer of funds. I did and saw the charge was going to be 45 dollars, 45 dollars to use my money PNC screwed with for over a week. Corp said no don't worry just call the branch you are using and they can reverse the charge easily. Branch of course can't/won't reverse this charge. PNC has cost me money again and again. Once this mess is cleared up, I will switch banks. My advise DO NOT bank with PNC they have no training or skills, all the nice talk in the world is wonderful, but at the end of the day companies are judged by performance and this branch and the other in Old Town are non-performers.

Can't even give it a star. Teller spoke to me as if I didn't know English. English may be her second language, it isn't mine. I may look Asian but I was born here in Chicago. Her cadence was staccato-like and slow...over enunciating every word. I will never bank at pnc.

Very nice and friendly people at this location. You can be in and outta there in less then 10 minutes. They aren't open at all on Sundays, found that out the hard way. But overall, good things about PNC and the employees here.
