My go to place for a lot of groceries. Has a few issues like all jewel oscos but the people that have been working here for a while are great, always helpful. Theres been some remodeling done. Just wish there was an easier way to request certain products so i would have to go all the way to food4less for my favorite type of cheese, etc

This Jewel has the worst security personnel! I witness when one of the security was battering a shoplifter. Why did he had to hit this person the way he did? Not sure why Albertsons will agree to this. No need for this behavior just gran the goods and let him go.

This is by far the worst-managed and stocked Jewel in the city. They've been "remodeling" this store since early spring and still, they haven't finished. The isle markers haven't been changed so you don't know where anything is and the employees don't have a clue. The Jewel in Evanston is slightly better, but I recommend the one in Andersonville.

It smells really bad in there like spoiled meat and produce, they are always out of stock of certain things

I’ve never been a big fan of this jewel Osco before. It’s usually dirty the employees are usually rude and the produce usually looks like people have tossed it around. Today takes the cake there is a mouse running around in the produce department and the employees are just looking at themselves like there’s nothing they can do about it. The only redeeming quality about this location is the pharmacy staff who are fantastic.

I would rate it a little higher if the lines weren't always so terrible. I've been going there for years because it's close by, and it seems to be their store policy to not staff enough cashiers, no matter what time of the day or night or day of the week. At least it's always clean, and they are good about having sales.

First of all, I appreciate someone shopping for me and bringing groceries to my door. That being said, I feel Jewel shoppers either do not understand what picking quality food is all about or they just don't read instructions. Why do I say that?- a manager of one store told be most shoppers are teens. That would explain why they might fulfill a request, but judging quality goes out the window. - I've learned that if I'm really picky about something; it's best to leave it off my list. Want SMALL, NOT-YET-RIPE bananas? Forget it. Marianos shoppers will text me a picture. Not Jewel shoppers. Fine. - It's also best to just check NO SUBSTITUTIONS. Don't expect them to read your preferences. Too bad. Jewel is my go-to store. Guess it's for only when I go myself or only pick standard stuff to have delivered.

this place is okay. I mean I've been in here a bunch of times. they need more shopping carts in here. they need to really kind of clean their bathrooms a little better. I mean you can find pretty much anything in the store. I like the fact that I was able to find sale items in here like I was in there on Thursday night and bought this thing of ice cream for a dollar. it was a sale item. normally it's like $3. but overall I mean this storage convenient to the CTA red purple and yellow line. it's also convenient to all the buses. and you've got Marshalls and you've got a UPS store and a bank so it's convenient shopping. it's good to have it.
