Do NOT use this as your pharmacy. The lines are ridiculous no matter what time you go. I've waited on average 30 minutes to drop off and then another 30 minutes to pick up and sometimes they don't have it ready after telling you a specific time. Just awful.

These folks are the Pharmacy are ok people, tbh. But they are absurdly understaffed and inefficient as an organization. It's painful to watch the lack of progress as you waste your time in long line, your life draining away by the moment, only to hear the at your Rx is only partially filled, or they're missing c, y, or z, or gee they need to contact your insurance provider. WHY does the Walgreens organization not take this in hand and FIX this problem? Poorly run and managed Walgreens stores bring the whole brand name into disrepute. FIX IT. For God's sake.

"Assistance needed in the battery department. "They get a star (2, since you can't give 0) because it's generally clean and the shelves are stocked well. Luckily we've moved so this is no longer our closest drugstore, but I was victimized by this location for several years. "Assistance needed in the vitamin department."The lines in this place are absurd. It's always crowded but management refuses to have enough registers open. "Assistance needed in the battery department." There is a lot of turnover in the employees, so they probably are not treated well. Highlights of my visits here include a discussion I had with the pharmacist after he lied about when my sick kid's medicine would be ready and also "Assistance needed in the vitamin department." a time where waiting mid-line, I exited--displaying to a cashier the item I wanted to purchase and tossing the requisite cash on the counter. Oh, and they have those asinine tv display screens on the refrigerated sections. "Assistance needed..."

Their pharmacy is horrible. They do not have the staff to serve our neighborhood. I waited 30 min to pick up an order I put in last night. They said they had no record of the order. In my app it said they cannot process the order and I need to call the pharmacy. When I called, I was on line for over 30 min and got disconnected. I am very frustrated. Someone need to get them to run a decent business.

I'd happily pay twice as much not to spend half an hour waiting for a harried employee to unlock a plastic case protecting $4 bottles of shampoo. The isn't actually a store, at least if you value your time. It's worth a train ride to go elsewhere.

Went today to get CoVid Booster. I had registered online and received confirmation. I They do not follow CoVid Protocol at all!!!!! I was rudely greeted with so you want something I replied I'm here for CoVid Booster and the woman ( who actually gives the shot) waved me toward a group of chairs. Later I find out I was supposed to get in line for the pharmacy . Needless to say I spent a half hour waiting when I could have been taken right away if she had been courteous and clear on her instructions! I now stand in line get to the counter where a young woman asks my name and I told her I have a confirmation code which she didn't look at and instead took her time putting info in! It would have been so much easier if they just put a sign indicating to register at the pharmacy... I felt humiliated invisible and treated as though I was stupid!!! Go anywhere but here I've never felt so invisible and dismissed as today. They don't deserve even 1 star!!!!

I would give zero stars if that was a choice. Made an APPOINTMENT for 6pm to get Pfizer booster. I arrived at 5:50pm and checked in at the consultation window. The pharmacist asked what I needed. I stated that I had an appt for the booster. She says you've got to get in line, there's only one line. I said that was the reason I went thru all that on line, so I would have a time instead of just getting in line. She responded again, there's only one line. By now, it's 6pm and I don't want to miss my vaccine appt. They're scheduled in 15 min intervals. So reluctantly I get in line. Mind you, there's 10 people in line ahead of me. My thing is WHY? I could've driven 25 miles to the Frankfort Walgreens where an appt really means an appt. But I hoped that the Hyde Park Walgreens would be different. Hah! Just as bad as the rest of the Walgreens on the southside of CHICAGO. I said all this to say, JUST SAY NO!

They are too busy. Staff is often inept. At last least half the time there is a problem filling or finding my prescription. Find another store if you possibly can!

The pharmacy is horrible. I shared a GoodRx code to get a discount on my prescription and after getting quoted a price I was asked to come back the next day because my prescription wasn't ready. Mind you, I received a call stating that it was. The next day the same employee stated that I would have to pay full price and that there was nothing he could do. He suggested I use GoodRx as they could probably give me some sort of discount as if I hadn't already done so. I did get my discount in the end, but there is always some issue with this location. Long lines, rude staff, personal information blurted out in front of everyone, staff acting as if you're inconveniencing them by asking a question, etc. And don't even bother calling because staff will pick up for mere seconds then immediately place you on hold. I spent 40 minutes on hold before finally hanging up. I would not be furious if I didn't hear staff laughing and joking in the background each time I was placed on hold. They are incredibly unprofessional.

This Walgreens is 24 hrs and very busy. All the sales associates were nice and professional. The manager was very supportive with getting my canvas ready. There was a problem with the printing, but she resolved the issue. Customer service is not easy in a high volume store, but they are trying. Thank you

I was in the Walgreens today to get my vaccination. I was at the window waiting for (Mir) to get through checking me in. He asked for my Drivers License, I gave it to him and he walked away to handle other things in the back. I was at the counter for 10 minutes. During that time, 3 customers came up to the window while I was waiting to give him papers, no one was practicing 6ft distance and there was no stickers on the floor for anyone. After the 3rd person walked up on me I finally asked (Mir) if he was going to address the customers about keeping a 6 ft distance? His reply, "I'm sorry there is nothing I can do." I suggested to tell the customers to please wait in line while finishing with me. His reply was there's nothing I can do when they just come up, sorry. No eye contact and refused to acknowledge the problem or solve it. So I asked to speak to the manager. Jason the store Manager acknowledged there was a lack of Covid protocols and he immediately went to the back to get 6ft floor stickers to put on the floor & immediately people were standing 6 feet apart and no one was traveling up to the window while other customers were up there, they waited in line. I took before and after images to show the difference. So the problem I addressed and gave a solution to for (Mir) which was ignored was immediately fixed by the manager. Before I left the counter to wait to get my vaccine I asked (Mir) if I was getting my Drivers License back? He said I don't see it anywhere and I'm sure I placed it on the counter. Mind you he walked away from the counter twice and I informed him that I understand you were busy juggling multiple things but you did not give me my ID back. I checked my wallet and pockets several times but in the end he insisted he gave it to me. I had the manager check the cameras but he said the angle was bad and you can't really see anything. So instead of getting just a vaccine I'm put in more harms way because I now have to go inside the grocery store to get food since they check your idea for curbside pick up. The manager said he would call if they find anything but (Mir's) lack of care was very adamant and he should not be interacting with customers. But, this is Walgreens and we are in over a Year of the pandemic, you would think that Walgreens would be on top of ensuring the customers follow the 6ft mandate. Other places the employees will immediately address a customer if they are wearing their mask wrong. But (Mir) is either afraid or lacks customer service skills to enforce that, shame on him. I guess if I end up getting sick while waiting to get a vaccine and end up in the hospital I'll just get a disingenuous sorry from him. The only reason why there are 2 stars is because of the Manager Jason and Brandon who was helpful unlike (Mir).

This has got to be the worse Walgreens ever. How are you a cashier and have no clue where the pickup is? Then I asked for curbside assistance, no vehicle and left a description of what I had on mind you it's cold out, then I step inside after waiting for an entire 10 minutes. Nothing. I go to the cashier which was the team leader that day some tall ass sister and she seemed as though I was making her day irritable. She brings me out the wrong item flipped it and showed me I'm thinking that was the item... I get to the car and it's the wrong item I go back to the store and say I'd like to return the item....it's just a refund right....the same team leader took me through hell and back, didn't know how to process a simple return and was getting agitated by the minute...she had made a comment to another coworker but I didn't cuss her ass out because I was already mad because she didn't wanna do her job. Then she short changed me 1.05 cent yes she tried to give me back the sale price...no mam Walgreens took 10.50 from my card imma need those coins up out you. Whew chile I had just gotten off work overnight so I was tired and didn't have the energy to get there with her and her shenanigans. There won't be a next time. Pure rudeness at its best.
