just trash. garage stairways are toilets. no one patrols the theatre for people drinking or being disruptive. popcorn is unfresh. nacho peppers are a seperate extra crazy charge. previews way too loud. this place is a nightmare of a place to see a movie.

I hate that this is the only IMAX screen left in the city. The quality of the film prints is not good, the numbers are worn off of the seats, dirty floors, no recliners, disgusting bathrooms. I mean…how are you charging premium prices for a not-premium experience? I’m pretty sure that blurry, dirty print of Sign o’ the Times is the last movie I’m seeing there. Time to move all the way on. I’ll gladly take a road trip for the next IMAX film I really want to see.

Clean, comfortable stadium theater. Very convenient to get to with attached covered garage or CTA bus stop on the corner. One of the few places in Chicago to show the live HD telecasts from the Metropolitan Opera - a bonus.
Addendum: Important to know that the garage is managed by ABM Parking services, not by Regal.
They require payment upon entry into the garage by scanning a QR code or having a reservation thru a parking app, such as Park Whiz. There is no attendant but they do photo/scan your car when you park. They will fine you if you have not paid when you leave your car to go into the theater.

Came for the 4DX Harry Potter showing. All of the collectible HP merch that was being promoted for this event was sold out. Apparently they had it out a week early, even though the movie events started today.
The 4DX theater was dirty from whatever previous show (popcorn on the floor and bowls on the seats, 3D glasses wrappers in cup holders) it was not clean before this movie, not sure as to why. Don’t know if this is normal for them or if it’s a busy weekend; I don’t normally come to this theater.
Regardless, the 4DX showing for HP itself was a lot of fun, I wish more theaters in Chicago/Chicagoland had this!

6:35 p.m. showing of Weapons on a Thursday night; $20 a ticket and $5 for parking is a $25 night out without concessions. Screens are dusty, thankfully Weapons doesn't have a ton of light scenes. Last time I visited for Dune: Part 2 and the dust against the white sand backdrops was very distracting. My wife and MIL got tickets for a Friday showing of Weapons at the AMC on Homer: $22 for 2 tickets, free parking. I'll be avoiding this Regal for the foreseeable future. The only redeeming things about this cinema is that it is clean and has many screens. Maybe if I liked 4DX, or if they installed a true IMAX screen, I'd be more likely to come back.
