When I returned to Chicago for the first time in a long time, I found that Lincoln Avenue was abandoned, but Rotofugi was still alive and well.This store has character products, making it feel like you're in Harajuku.There are also Hello Kitty and Japanese products, but now the store mainly sells goods made by an Italian called Tokidoki with Japanese influences.The clothes are cute too.A while ago, there was an event by an artist in New York, and I bought a painting.I hope that someday it will be as valuable as Basquiat.

So much cool stuff, lovely friendly staff, a nice mix of art and vinyl figures and collectibles. Difficult to drag my 7 year old away! Awesome spot.

Can't say enough good things about this place, a hidden gem in the city that I can't believe I haven't posted a review of yet. Love love love it, always take my out of town guests here and have gotten a lot of beautiful art for my home from the rotating exhibits!

This is an amazing shop, Run by amazing and sweet people. Rotofugi has such a fun and wide range of different products, there’s something for everyone too enjoy. Absolutely a must visit if you are in the chicago area.

Rotofugi is the premier place in Chicago to browse and buy art and collectible toys. Long time sellers of Tokidoki and currently the best/only (?) place to find the wildly popular Sonny Angel & Smiski series. A welcoming store for all with a friendly and kind staff. My favorite aspect of the store is the monthly art shows and additional art on display in the back half of the store. Highly recommended.

Cool staff, better selection than I expected in the Midwest. Cool thing about this shop compared to the ones in New York, Is that being in Chicago, they can afford to rent a larger space to keep all the items on shelves and to display art on their (bigger) walls. It makes for a less cluster-phobic experience when trying to check out different pieces!
