Making a Checking or Savings account is quick and easy.The staff was kind and patient, they explained everything through the process and are happy to give copies of the setup and a lollipop even if your an adult.Even though their a small staff they make sure to help any way they can.

We're a Trust on 1 account and part owner on another account. We are out-of-state. We try calling main number and find long on hold times. This is unacceptable that this bank does not have more persons mandating phone service.

I'm extremely frustrated with this bank. My mother has her account here, and she has an overdraft, but they won't tell her why. She says they wouldn't tell her what her last few transactions were and will not help her unlock her app. She leaves in an assisted leaving facility so she's unable to go in person for every little question. She even says that whoever she spoke to on the phone actually hung up on her. I tried to call and of course no one answered. I tried to use the telephone banking and of course her account number and pin were invalid. As soon as I'm able to get her paperwork ready I'm changing her bank to somewhere they actually want to help their customers.

Banking is easy but when it comes to calling and actually talking to someone, fail! Never call back when you leave a message. Never answer the phone to begin with but if you walk physically inside there are 3 to 4 people just standing there. ANSWER YOUR PHONE AND RETURN YOUR CUSTOMERS CALLS!

Great Chicago bank with a small town feel. Believe it or not they offer competitive rates and flexible financing. Try getting that at a big bank or mortgage brokers. They gave me a better rate on better terms than any other bank including large national banks. I am very happy to do business with Royal and I like have an individual banker who I can work with on issues.

It is very handy for me. I am treated very good and the help I get is great. Only one thing, no info on ATMs. They should have hours about the ones in the lobbies and the outside ones. Everything else is great.

What a joke!!!! This old-time bank is so far from technology and has little to offer compared to their competitors. The ONLY customer service they possess is during working hours and if you NEED to speak to someone after business hours the ONLY option you have is to suspend or cancel your debit card. THAT'S IT!!!!! They DO NOT have the modern technology for us to have Apple pay on our phones, if you need to transfer money from your phone you only can transfer 500.00$ and that takes at least two to three business days and their garbage pop money doesn't compare with Zelle. I had Chase before and on pay day by midnight I would already have my money in my account, not this bank, sometimes my money wouldn't post till after 5 AM AND MY JOB BANKS WITH THEM!!!!!! Their website is so pathetic and weak and when you use your debit card it doesn't show on the mobile Bank app till the next day as to other bank apps it posts instantly or within an hour. I guess this bank is for a specific dynamic and those individuals feel "AMAZED" by Royal's advanced technology, and half of those humans don't even know how to utilize their cellular device and are content with just walking in the bank or using the ATM'S. Garbage, pathetic, antique, a big dinosaur. Welcome to the 80's with this bank, and employees know it. Yeah, you all do. It's a fact.

Worse bank I've ever used. All management keeps dodging my calls and the Vice President who opened my account dodging all call emails and texts. My account was closed without my knowledge or even a phone call. They told me the put my money in the mail before giving me a option to withdraw it. I do not recommend

This bank is small and if opening your account with a large amount will put the money on hold for up to thirty days. They have limited services and they are not updated technically with other Banks to deliver what other Banks can deliver!!!
