Warranty Beware I purchased a couple of pieces of furniture from Mark (great guy with good taste) and because my color of choice was extremely light, he recommended I purchase a warranty from Serve Co which was not cheap. My complaint is against Serve Co. they are scammers. On 1/15/2024 I submitted a request for service, and I followed the procedure and submitted all the necessary documentation and received confirmation that it was received, and I would hear back in 48 hours. When I did not hear back from them, I contacted them on 1/23/2024. They stated they had all they needed, and my service request was assigned to Sara, and I would receive a call back by 1/25/2024. I never got a call. After calling a couple of more times including today, they are asking for the same documentation I submitted on 1/15/2024. Serve Co is a scam.

Good prices, poor quality furniture, and terrible customer service. I bought a pieces of furniture from Roy's 6 months ago, and in that time it broke twice. The repair process was quick, but broke again soon after. After the second breakage, I requested a refund on my goods, most likely to buy another piece from the store. However, I was left waiting for my refund for three additional months. I would reach out to their customer service line and would be met with an answering machine, and email threads would go weeks without response. It was only when I started going back to their store location and meeting with their sales team that my refund request got moving. The Sales Associate, Mark, was very helpful and helped conclude the three month process of getting my refund but this whole ordeal concluded my consumer relationship with this store.

Went in a week or so ago to look at the couches they had in stock. Mark was able to walk me through the sales floor and show me everything they had. It was a laid back experience but he clearly knew the products. Delivery and set up was quick as well.

We really want to like this place. They seem to have quality furniture at reasonable prices. We like the furniture we ordered from them in the past, so we recently purchased some new dining chairs. Unfortunately, after assembling them, 3 of the 4 were uneven. When I contacted customer service, they first suggested adjusting the knobs on the legs. Apparently, they do not know their own products well enough to know there are no knobs on these chairs. Unfortunately, they only had 2 chairs remaining in the warehouse, so it would be over 2 months before a 3rd chair could arrive. They refused to discount that chair for the inconvenience. They did assure me that they assembled the 2 chairs in their warehouse and they were both even. It took a lot of back & forth to work out a delivery time, as they didn't want to inconvenience themselves by adding an extra delivery on a Saturday (but kept asking me to take another day off work to receive their delivery during the week). When the 2 replacement chairs did arrive, they turned out to wobble. They tried to say our floor was uneven, but when I placed the 1 even chair in the same spot, it did not wobble. While they did offer a full refund, they not only tried to sell us defective products, but then tried to pass them off as not defective. In the follow-up, they continued to claim the chairs are not defective. I'll let the posted photo speak for itself.In response to their reply, I never asked to keep the defective chairs, but did communicate that we did not want to store their defective chairs for them for an extended period of time. All 7 chairs have been returned to them.UPDATE: Three weeks have passed, and I have yet to be refunded.

I have previously had a great experience with this company, I have a couch from them that I love. About a year ago I used the synchrony credit card they partner with to purchase the couch. When I went back yesterday to look for a coffee table, the employees were minimally helpful. I spent some time with my family finding options and deciding on an ottoman for my couch. When I went to purchase the item (with the credit card I opened with them), I was told I needed to put a 1/3 of the cost down on another form of payment. I suppose I understand this, since it is a custom order, but I don't understand why I can't use the form of payment they endorse at their store to do this. I emailed the company to complain, as this doesn't make any sense to me, and I was met with very rude emails from their "President," Johanna. She wanted to go back and forth about the difference between a credit card and a line of credit. At the end of the day, I was trying to understand their policy and shop at their store, giving them my business and money. She didn't seem to care about customer service whatsoever. She cared more about being right and proving her point. What childish and unprofessional behavior from a so called "president." What a joke.

On July 25th my partner and I ordered some furniture. There was a piece of furniture that we didn’t need and was unnecessary, so I canceled it. It was not delivered and I canceled quickly.The problem is on their policy that the store only gives you a store credit when you cancel the order. They stated that I had buy something else. If I would have known I would go somewhere else. It’s not fair and appears from my experience they are desperate for money. Buyer beware! From looking at the receipt they didn’t even return the delivery and tax for that item. An unsold item! Buyer Beware! Underline it!!! I’ll add pictures later and on other websites.

My 2nd big purchase from Roy's arrived today - a platform bed with an upholstered base and headboard - I love the detailing on this piece and the gorgeous fabric! The delivery folks were both professional and kind, and got my new treasure assembled in no time! Here it is, it all set up with the new mattress and bedding! Thank you, Mark for helping me with the sale and the delivery logistics!

I bought my couch with Roy’s furniture over a year ago. I loved the store and customer service so much I went back and bought a living room chair. They have great financing options, easy delivery and friendly supportive but not pushy staff. I’ll probably be back soon for a table!

I had a great experience at Roy’s! Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Mark was super helpful and responsive. I was able to get the sofa delivered within a day of ordering! So fast and easy process! So happy I didn’t order online and my sofa is very chic and comfy!

After *almost* buying a couch several times at all the big name stores, we ended up at Roy's pretty desperate. But we left very, very happy.The showroom itself is two stories and has an impressive variety of styles and price ranges. Hundreds of pieces to choose from, from living to bedroom to dining room furniture. Within a few seconds, an associate had welcomed us and explained the tag system. White tags meant the piece was in stock (at their local warehouse) and deliverable within a week; gray tags meant the piece was ordered and has an ETA; other tags meant the stock was backordered. They also offered every piece custom with so many fabric options.The customer service was top notch. Margery was kind and attentive while still giving us space to take it all in. She was incredibly helpful by offering us ETA's or extra info on pieces we spent time looking at. In the end, we were able to get a perfect sectional (seriously, the dimensions, fabric, reversibility, etc. were all on point!) AND a very stylish recliner (that we didn't expect but fell in love with) with next day delivery. For thousands less than what other stores quoted for 12-week deliveries.Speaking of the delivery, it went so smoothly. The associates were masters at maneuvering the pieces into our apartment. They even set up the cushions and pillows, and took all the trash with them. The white glove delivery was an pleasant surprise.We are so happy to support local and will definitely be buying future pieces from Roy's too.

We have three pieces from Roy’s. A sectional sofa and ottoman we purchased over four years ago that have held up beautifully, and just recently a swivel chair. Everything is so well made and very comfortable! Jared was our salesman for our most recent purchase. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. When we’re ready for our next piece of furniture we’ll definitely be back at Roy’s!
