Super fun class! We tried this out and were motivated to keep going the entire class. The split between the weights and the bags provided a good balance and the class flew by.

Best workout in the Gold Coast, at an extremely great location. People are fantastic, facilities are clean, equipment is state-of-the-art, and the app actually works! If you want to work *hard* on general whole-body fitness, but don’t have a ton of time in your schedule, this is the #1 place to go imo.TLDR:Staff & Trainers: 10/10Location: 10/10Workout: 10/10Facilities & Equipment: 10/10App/scheduling: 10/10Pricing: $$$The Workout and Trainers: Rumble is fast, dark, loud, high energy, and the trainers keep you accountable. You will be called out by name! This style of workout is full on, and tends to attract a younger crowd (20s and early 30s mostly) but that’s exactly what I need to keep me motivated. You will sweat. You will hurt in the morning. I love it. The classes are designed to be 100% accessible to people who have zero boxing experience, but they’re still fun if you are more experienced. I’ve been boxing for 3 years now and I still appreciate that the combos are projected on the wall, so you don’t get lost. The bags are rubber and filled with water, which makes them more gentle on the knuckles than traditional leather bags filled with solids. Weight training and lower-body work are part of every class too, which I like. The trainers are half-DJ, half coach, and the primary skill they utilize at Rumble seems to be maintaining an incredibly positive and motivating energy in the room that ends up making you work harder than you thought you would coming in. They are clearly fitness freaks themselves (and I mean that in the best way possible), which makes them very credible and means they can demonstrate all the moves clearly without a hitch. They have a good intuition for meeting people where they’re at, without letting them get lazy. I like that they walk around and proactively offer judgement-free help if you’re struggling with a particular move. The trainers are diverse too, which I think adds a lot of value because it’s never monotonous and it makes the place feel inclusive and welcoming to all (if you can afford it of course). This is not the place to go if you are looking to refine boxing skills for a real fight. Boxing is a fun means to an end of general fitness here. But maybe it could be good supplementary fitness when combined with a real fight oriented boxing coach outside of Rumble. I’m just here to get fit in a fun way and feel destroyed in 45 min. It is hard to beat Rumble on that front.Pricing: Yes, it is expensive. It is priced for the typical Chicago yuppie/upper-middle to upper class clientele. But pricing is in line with the trainer-led workout market in the area. I would go more often if there was a bit more cost savings to be gained by purchasing monthly memberships or bundles of classes. That said, I’ve been going here on and off for 8 months now, and I always feel like I’m getting full value for what I pay. You get even more value if you rent equipment, because gloves and wraps are included in the price (I haven’t done this, but what they offer seems to be good quality for what you’re doing and it appears to be clean). I’d definitely go even more frequently if it was financially responsible for me to do so.

Hands down BEST workout in all of Chicago, and trust me when I say I’ve tried them all. You can’t go wrong with any instructor…. The are the most kind people, have a phenomenal atmosphere and an energy that is completely unmatched to any other studio. If you’ve been thinking about trying Rumble, THIS IS YOUR SIGN

I've never managed to stick to a consistent workout routine. Usually find running or other typical "gym" exercises too monotonous. I'd heard about Rumble, but was hesitant to try it out given my lack of boxing experience and the fact that I wasn't in great shape. Back in August, I managed to convince a friend to take the two free intro classes with me. Figured we'd both make an ass out of ourselves and enjoy the laugh. After the first class I was hooked. I've now taken 40 classes and have yet to feel the grindy/repetitive sensation that came with other types of workouts/memberships. Below are a few reasons why I think Rumble has managed to be the only gym I've stuck with: - Fantastic trainers.. all of them. - Welcoming environment- Low learning curve, but hard to master- Feels like a game- Learning a sport while getting fit - No two classes are a like - 45 minute high-intensity sessions so you're in and out quickly- Many class times offered every day

If you're looking for a great workout that will challenge you and push you to your limits, while also providing you with an amazing time, Rumble boxing is your place. This workout is like none other I have experienced. The studio is extremely well equipped, and the workout area amazing also. Each participant has their own bag and bench that they are assigned before class, which cuts down on any confusion on where you are supposed to be. The lights are low in the studio, and the music is loud, which really allows for a truly electric atmosphere during your workout. I've taken classes with Spencer, Kristen, MK, Meg, and Cam, and have thoroughly enjoyed each of these trainers. They explain the punches, and the run-down of each class thoroughly before class starts, and all of the combos are displayed on a screen at the front of the room. They really take the time to go around the room, even in big classes, to motivate you and correct your form if needed. They have a great energy, and I always leave here feeling like a better version of myself. I highly recommend this boxing gym for anyone looking for a fun, group fitness class to try.

I'll start this post by saying I am not the most coordinated, or athletic person there is. After trying the buy one get one free option for newcomers, I'm hooked. The instructors are awesome, and very inclusive. They ensure that your form is good and use the beginning part of class/each switch as a teaching moment. As someone who has never boxed before I found it easy to follow along at your own pace, while challenging yourself! The class is split between bags and floor exercises. Would recommend! I would note that when you sign up you receive a free pair of wraps that you keep, otherwise glove rentals are $3.30 each time.

Very friendly staff and the instructors are awesome! Every time I fly in from New York for business I make sure to schedule a spot at Gold Coast.

Rumble is one of my favorite fitness studios. It's a healthy mix of boxing, strength, HIIT, abs, and cardio. You will leave this class drenched in sweat, feeling stronger and more confident. I used to go to the branch in washington, DC and was excited to find out that all of the trainers at this chicago location are great! My personal favorites are Kristin and Spencer. Heads up that Boxing gloves are available for rent/purchase and boxing wraps are available for purchase only.

A super fun, upbeat class! The great thing about Rumble is that they have such a wide range of class times, every day of the week that you can attend. It's also super easy to use their app/switch your spot which is weirdly difficult to do in a lot of boxing inspired workout gyms/locations. I took a class with Trista who is AMAZING. I can't say enough great things about her emphasis on the boxing technique, but also how affirming she is to everyone during class. Hearing a shoutout from the instructor always makes you feel more confident and validated, and I'd keep coming back to Rumble just because of that! The class itself splits evenly between boxing and strength portions, which is great. The room you are in is quite dark, which may not be for everyone but I loved it since it felt like I could focus on myself and not what others were doing. Class prices are pretty high compared to other boxing gyms, but if you get a chance to come to a class, Trista is an awesome option for a trainer!

Went in with high expectations since friends from NYC have been raving about Rumble. The facilities are beautiful, clean and well planned out. Tucked in the heart of Gold Coast it was easy to find parking on a weekend morning or walk over from a few different neighborhoods. The music kept you moving and the cuing was easy to follow with front screens detailing the combination with duration. Overall it was a fun class that made you sweat!

Awesome boxing/HIIT Workout that makes you feel like you are in a club. Classes are around $30 but if you are willing to spend that kinda cash Rumble is one of the bests with a combo of boxing and floor exercises with great instructors!
