Odd way to run a business. When someone asks about allergens, instead of simply stating the obvious (as it’s indicated on the menu already), the owner/chefs should communicate with their waiters and servers on the specific details of which dishes are allergens safe and why OR why not.If I’m spending money at your restaurant, please don’t keep me in the dark. Especially because sometimes, restaurant employees may not be as familiar with every allergen as much as the people that actually have the allergy. Providing details to customers may actually help improve service.I was told that nothing was gluten free except 2-3 dishes, and when asked about why, no details were given. I’m not a business owner, but I can’t imagine there’s a legitimate reason for this. I’d like to know why there is gluten in dishes that are naturally gluten free like karahis, biryanis etc. If there wasn’t so much pushback, I’d have no problem with any of it. I can understand, people have different ways of cooking. Just tell us the ingredient that makes it not gluten friendly. The waiters/servers are not at fault here, they’re simply told what to do, and they do it. We appreciated our waiter’s help. But management needs to do better.

We first went there around Christmas 2017. We really liked their food, especially the Sabri Nihari dish. Unfortunately, when we went there again last June, they seemed to have no coordination at all. They did not provide salad at the beginning, and after we had started eating, they gave us salad more than 10 minutes later. This time, the special Sabri Nihari dish was the worst we've ever had. There was only one small piece of meat, which was not tasty at all. We told them about it, but it felt like they did not care. The only good thing I felt was that the ambiance is better than some other restaurants near it.Update in 2024: The service has become even worse than before. The food is still good, though. I would rather do takeout (if I really want to) than have a dine-in experience there. It's not worth it.

Very tasty, currently the interior is under renovations. It should look much nicer once the wall and floor coverings are removed.

Food is blah! No taste. Nihari was anything but Nihari. Chicken boti was tasteless. Felt like boiled with little salt. They are definitely losing their touch.Ambience is like hospital cafeteria, even those have more warmth than this place. They are going to lose customers and very soon NO customers. Hope they can change, quickly!!Parking: Nightmare to get parking on weekends!Every time I am in Devon on weekends, I kick myself for forgetting this !!

This restaurant has bad attitude and lacks on the quantity on the food and can't fill us enough. I don't feel like it's the real taste of Pakistani food and tastes like fake Pakistani food.

Absolutely delicious! We got the Sabri Nihari, Dal, Mattar Paneer, Chili Garlic Naan, and Garlic Naan, mango lassi, and all were amazing. Would recommend all of these dishes! The portions were very large — I think this amount of food easily could have served 6+. We are looking forward to getting a few more meals out of the leftovers. Our waiters were very friendly and helpful, they had stellar recommendations and were very attentive. I have a nut allergy and they were kind to double check with the chefs to verify that there are no nuts in any of the dishes on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Very nut-allergy friendly! No dishes contain nuts

Quality has definitely gone downhill. Food used to be tasty and flavorful, now it's just too salty and spicy. From being out of town, always looked forward to a meal at Sabri, but not anymore. If anyone from there reads this, try controlling salt and spice and bring some flavor back. Service was good.

The name of the waiter who I shared much in common with regarding the finer side of Pakistani Cuisine is Abdul Naazir. He made my day because he played host on all subjects and led me to a greater appreciation for how his food at Nihari is so excellent. It was real good to find someone who had the instinct for teaching as well as serving. The food try it and find out why it is rated high by many,
