Chanel Store!!I visited the Chanel store at Saks Fifth Avenue for some makeup products. The Sales Advisor - Maria is super helpful and patient. There were several different groups of people coming in at one time, she was busy around here and there but she never lost the patient to serve people. She did not push me to buy, she just gave me advice if I needed and gave me to tried different colors and helped found my colors. I ended up with buying more than I planned to.Btw, I visited this Store in the past, it was another woman there, not nice, no patient. Not a great experience so I stopped going there for a long time. Now Maria changes my shopping experience and I will visit when she is there. She works all week except Tuesday and Thursday.

I would highly recommend Aaron Teston if you're in need of a suit. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable in men’s fashion. I was very impressed by the level of service he provided me during my visit at Saks.

I HAVE ONE QUESTION. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS STORE AND ITS HIGH END BRAND??? I RECALL THE DAYS OF GOING HERE AND ITS OLD LOCATION AND THE EXPERIENCE BACK IN THE DAY WAS JAW DROPPING. WHO HERE REMEMBERS THE LOCATION THAT WAS HOUSED EITHER ACROSS THE STREET OR BLOCK AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL STORE THAT WAS A SAKS FIFTH AVENUE STORE JUSTS FOR MEN?? I WENT TO SAKS RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS BECAUSE I HADNT BEEN IN YEARS. I WAS SEEKING TO ORDER SOME MERCHANDISE ONLINE AT THE STORE. I CAME IN THE STORE AND WAS SHOCKED BY THE APPEARANCE OF THE STORE. THE STORE LOOKED ORDINARY REGULAR “CARSON P. SCOTTS OR MACYS STATE STREET” NOT TO HIGH END EXPECTATIONS. GOING TO STORES LIKE THIS WERE A BIG DEAL AND “EXPERIENCE” PER SE. IT WAS ALL ABOUT MEETING THE DEMANDS AND HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR THEIR HIGH END MONEY HAVING CLIENTELE.SO I GO UP IN THERE BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND NO ONE GREETED ME EXCEPT ONE WOMAN. THE SAME WOMAN WHO WAS GOING TO END UP HELPING ME PUT MY ONLINE ORDER THROUGH. THREE DAYS BEFORE THE CHRISTMAS WEEKEND AND NO ONE WAS IN THE STORE. I GO TO THE SHOE DEPARTMENT WHICH LOOKED BARE COMPARED TO THE OLD DAYS WAS JUSTS TOTALLY EMPTY OF SALES ASSOCIATES. THERE WASNT A SALES PERSON IN SITE TO SALE A CUSTOMER SOME SHOES. THERE WAS ONE MAN SITTING DOWN LOOK LIKE HE HAD BEEN THERE FOR A MINUTE ON THE PHONE. MY ORDER FROM THE WEBSITE CONSISTED OF TWO PAIR OF SHOES AND A DYSON HEATER. SO NO ONE IN THE SHOE DEPARTMENT THEREFORE I WILL BE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE. I GO INTO A HIGH END CLOTHING SECTION WHICH IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE SHOE DEPARTMENT. THE SALES CONSULTANT DIDNT REALLY ACKNOWLEDGE ME AND WAS HELPING ANOTHER GUESTS. THAT IS FINE BUT WHEN I ASKED HER FOR ASSISTANCE WITH MY ONLINE ORDER. SHE LOOKED WORRIED SHOCKED DISMAYED AND CONFUSED BUT POLITELY SAID “I WILL HELP U AFTER I TAKE CARE OF THIS CUSTOMER”. THAT WAS OKAY AS WELL BUT THEN SHE DISAPPEARED AND SO DID THE CUSTOMER. IT WAS STRANGE AND WEIRD AT THE SAME TIME. AND NOW THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE TO GO TO ON THE FLOOR, I MEAN THE WHOLE FLOOR WAS COMPLETELY DEVOID OF ALL SALES ASSOCIATES. GO ONE FLOOR DOWN AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED AS FAR AS NO SALES ASSOCIATES AVAILABLE. SAY WHAT, THIS IS INSANE AND BELOW EXPECTATIONS OF WHAT SHOULD BE EXPECTED FROM HIGH END RETAILING??!!SO AFTER GOING TO TWO FLOORS AND RECEIVING NO ATTENTION WHATSOEVER - VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THIS TIME I DECIDED TO TAKE MYSELF BACK TO THE FIRST FLOOR - INEXCUSABLE!!! SO I ENDED UP FINDING THE SALES ASSOCIATE WHO GREETED ME AT THE BEGINNING BY THE NAME OF CATHERINE. SHE WAS NICE AND HELPED ME (TREMENDOUSLY) RIGHT ALONG WITH ONE OF THE STORE MANAGERS (THINK HER NAME IS LIZ) WHO I RECALL WORKING WITH AT BLOOMINGDALES BACK IN 2019. I WAS CONSTANTLY THANKING CATHERINE BECAUSE THERE WERE SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE SYSTEM PROCESSING THE ORDER. EVENTUALLY EVERYTHING WENT THROUGH AND I WAS ABLE TO GET MY ORDER PROCESSED AND SENT TO MY HOME ADDRESS. AGAIN MY THANKS HAD A LOT TO DO WITH HER HELPING ME, BEING PATIENT, IN MAKING MY ORDER HAPPEN AND THE FACT SHE WAS AVAILABLE TO BEGIN WITH. BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ONE AVAILABLE FROM THE OTHER FLOORS, ALL THOSE COMMISSIONED WORKERS, NON EXISTENT TO HELP ME PLACE A $1,400 DOLLAR ORDER THAT DAY - NOT GOOD IN MY EYES, NOT GOOD AT ALL. THREE ⭐️ FOR CATHERINE SHE SAVED THE DAY; OTHERWISE THIS STORE WOULD HAVE RECEIVED NO ⭐️ IN MY WORDS.

Other reviewers were definitely right - many employees have no problem playing their phone and gossiping with other employees instead of helping customers out. Nobody ever came up to me to help me when I had questions about the products and their pricing. I have to give my compliments to Julie though, who did a great job answering my questions helping me check-out.

I usually do not go to such great lengths to report a terrible experience but I feel the actions of a Manager, Reggie May, were incredibly inappropriate. I will spare you the details but if someone from saks would like to reach out, id gladly explain. Within the conversation Mr. May attempted to confuse me, lie and even threatened to refuse me service "I don't even have accept this return" Completely terrible experience. If a manager does not know what an exclusion list is, he should not be working for the company. I will be making a formal complaint with saks corporate but I would steer clear of Saks all together. There are many luxury options and honestly Saks does not deserve our business.

Generally, I've had nothing but good experiences ordering online with Saks. This last go around, I ordered a set kids pajamas (shirt and pants) that came without the pants. After a couple of interactions with customer service reps to figure out what was going on, the direction was to either start a return or wait to hear from the warehouse. I decided to wait to hear from the warehouse, since my daughter really wanted the pjs. I went a couple of weeks without being contacted and decided to have the pjs returned. Now the rep said that because the pjs are outside the return window, I need to pay for the return to get a refund. Not sure if this is a data point in a worrisome trend or just a unique occurrence. Let's hope the latter and not the former.

I was shocked to see the terrible condition of the store on Michigan Ave and has not been updated in years. The pandemic and shoplifting have certainly taken a toll. There are only two floors dedicated to women now and one of them is for designer apparel only which leaves hardly anything worth looking at on the other floor because it was haphazard. I tried shopping online that still has a good selection of clothes but it doesn't give you the opportunity to try anything on since sizes vary so much.As for the 877customer service, it is ridiculous. I called regarding a return that had not posted and the representative placed me on hold twice and I was on the line for 27 minutes. I only spoke to her for a minute and when she returned she told me I had to call the store. I called the store and they told me I had to call my credit card company. Unbelievable! It is hard to believe this is a flagship store anymore.

I am deeply disappointed with the Silk Dress by Michelle Smith that I purchased from Saks Fifth Avenue's online store. First of all, the packaging was subpar, as the dress arrived in a flimsy clear plastic bag with only a paper tag, lacking the original brand label one would expect from a reputable retailer. Upon opening the package, I was appalled to find the dress in a terrible condition, completely creased and wrinkled as if it had been previously worn and used. This is utterly unacceptable for an item that costs over $400.To make matters worse, I attempted to address my concerns with their customer service, only to be informed that the dress was marked as a final sale and ineligible for a return or exchange. This policy feels like a complete rip-off, leaving customers with no recourse when they receive defective or unsatisfactory products.I expected a much higher level of quality and service from Saks Fifth Avenue, and this experience has left me feeling frustrated and deceived. I strongly advise against purchasing from their online store, as this has been a disappointing and expensive mistake.
