The employees are overweight—which made everything make sense once I showed up. I called ahead asking for blades, gave the exact make and model, and they immediately said, “We don’t have them.” I called them out for not even checking, so they pretended to go look… then told me the same thing. I show up, walk to the aisle, and surprise—blades are right there.
I buy them, only to be met by two out-of-breath women slowly inspecting my items like it was the first real movement they’ve done all day. Everything about the experience suddenly clicked. Anyway, heading out to buy more blades somewhere else—just figured I’d leave this little gem before I go.

I decided to freshen up my copper hair color before going out of town for my first high school reunion, so I went to Sally's on Elston on 5/16/24 to buy Ion True Tones Copper perm hair cream. Imagine my surprise after rinsing my hair and seeing a dark burgandy color that brought out all my red skin tones in the worst way (this color only doesn't wash me out if I'm wearing full face evening make up which I seldom do!). After carefully reading all of the label information on the tube of hair dye, I found it was a 'Light Burgandy Blonde' color that was incorrectly packaged in the sealed box of Copper color I'd purchased. Including tip, this mix up cost me $180 to correct in a salon. Honestly I feel that Sally's should at least partially reimburse me for this correction, but the manager never returned my call and their customer service rep I called said the only reimbursement I was eligible for was the $11.01 I paid for this. I've been a customer at this location for years but would never volunteer for this disaster again, so it's strictly online shopping at other beauty supplies from now on. Buyer beware!

Really organized, clean, and well stocked. I passed by for some demi hair color and developer. Daya and Maria helped me find what I needed, including the right color for what I wanted. Will definitely go again!

The staff makes me feel uncomfortable every single time I go in and they make it clear if they want to serve you or not. (Most times it’s not)

The girl with the red hair was very unhelpful and look me up and down and said this product was not here. Looks like I found it after looking,I don’t think the red hair worker eye’s are working.

lady with short hair and old was super rude from the start. Sighed once I said I was doing a return. Followed me around the store and made condescending comments to me. Overall horrible experience!! The sally’s is messy and under stocked. The one on Addison is so much better and staff is actually helpful and nice!

Last year, I went to pick up some hair dye with a 50$ visa gift card. A few days later I find out that all the money in the card was gone. The dye cost maybe 20$ and was my only purchase using that gift card
