I travelled this weekend to the city and I went in at 3:31pm on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, for a product I had already been looking for a couple weeks, due to not having a Sally's near my area. I walked in and the worker who attended me made assumptions about what my hair did not have and told me that was I was taking was not was I was looking for and she did not know what I was looking for. She also stopped me from taking the product. I decided to drive through tolls to a different location in Indiana and the employee was amazing! The product I was looking for was exactly the same one the employee in this location stopped me from purchasing. I will never return to this location.

They should train the women who work there. When I go to get a product and ask them about the benefits of that product, they don't know anything or how to explain why you should use it.

Customer service isn’t the best here and I’ve had many issues with this location which sucks because it’s so close to me, i have to go to other locations to have amazing experiences. I tried to pick up an order here but the cashier made it so difficult I waited for a long time while she tried to look it up, she had everything and I had emails and the app and everything but because she would put in my number and not see the order she couldn’t give it to me finally she called her manager and the manager solved the issue within seconds but after she hung up the cashiers tone made it seem like it was my fault she stated that I ordered it without my number when that was not true at all I ordered it the same way I order every time, through the app while being logged in (with my number!) so she made it seem like it was because of me when it was really her issue. Other times this same young girl has never really been helpful or nice.

The girls are nice and helpful but they have a better selection of hair tools at Ulta imo.

The Chicago stores are all very small from what I'm used to, but they have a decent selection of a little bit of everything. The staff is super helpful.I'm mostly going out of my way to leave a positive review because this time when I came in there was an angry customer that doesn't understand the returns/refunds policy and gave the staff a hard time. They're following company policy and they don't make the rules! Even just eavesdropping on their conversation the staff was great and handled it properly.

I've lived in the Little village area for a little over 2 years. I am a barber and nail tech and a licensed Barber teacher. Almost every single time I'm going to the Sally's they never have what I want or need. The girls are usually really nice there but they always make excuses saying that it's the smaller store so they don't have everything the other stores have but when I look online for this particular location it says that these items should be available. Like the Begin for example. Just because it's a smaller store doesn't mean it shouldn't carry certain items it just means that it should carry less of them but they don't have any at all and the website is very misleading. I have been shopping at Sally's overall for 10 years but I must say that this one is the worst I've ever been to. They pretty much don't have anything so they might as well become a general beauty supply store or just shut down if they're not going to expand their product base.

I've been trying to pick up an order for 2 days and the lights are on but the doors are locked. There is no sign on the door and there's a lot of people waiting in their cars. If you aren't open, don't allow online orders for 2 hour pickup.
