Charging $39.99 for fake coach purse is absolutely criminal, I authenticate bags for a living and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I really think the Salvation Army and all thrift stores in general have completely thrown the mission out the window. If they think it’s a brand name they will completely mark it up and make it impossible for people in need to afford. I’ve been to other salvation army’s and bought coach bags that are real and more valuable for less than what you’re charging. You need a wake up call, the greedy CEO’s are only going to slow down sales and make people like me shop elsewhere. Get a grip on reality

Cheers for Salvation Army for not throwing fast fashion into the garbage. My only issue with this place is the people cut in line and go crazy running in like it’s the game show “Supermarket Sweep”. It’s not Black Friday and there isn’t a cash prize. It does pay the arrive early as there will be nice stuff in the bins from time to time. I saw someone discovered two 100 dollar bills inside a hdden pocket in a really old purse….
I have never left here with no purchases that’s for damn sure….
As far as the retail store I usually go in there after the bins but it feels like I’m being r*ped with the prices bc the bins are so cheap..

The staff is in un professional , the prices are above used market value .. Do not understand why people continue to go here .. the items , they have are not in good condition , they , sell as if their New out the Box .. I get u have to make money , they get it for free .. it’s Not .. like Antique Shop , who have to buy , then sell to make a profit .. S.A get it’s all donated to them .. ridiculous! Stop going to places that rip community off.

I found what I was looking for at the store. Nice, but you really have to look. Also, I think, this store is quite expensive for a thrift shop.

They regularly close early. This is the second day I’ve come and the shop has closed early. On Tuesday they were closed several hours earlier than their posted closing time.

Employees are surly. But the merchandise is always fun and prices are so much better than most places. This is somewhere where I will actually shop for clothes, because the selection is huge.

Good clothes, good prices, but hygiene is needed, the floors are very dirty, when you enter it smells dirty you start to sneeze because of the smell of dirt

Do NOT donate to this prejudice location! I came here to donate a bed frame that I purchased less than a year ago from Ashley Furniture store. The donation attendant wasn’t there when I showed up then when I complained no one is ever out there when needed he pops up asking what I need. I told him I’m donating a bed frame and before I even open my trunk, “they can’t take it because it’s broken down”. I told him that made absolutely no sense because how are they picking items up fully assembled. He kept complaining it needed to be assembled and rejected it. I said ok I’ll assemble it since I have all of the parts and it isn’t rocket science. He then says, “no we can’t take it because it’s all beat up”. The item was in excellent condition, all parts, pieces and minimum scratches! I told him show me where it’s beat up then he gets upset and tells me speak to a manager so I do. The manager asks if it’s broken and I told her no, he’s being lazy. As we walk back outside, I see he happily takes the donations of a hispanic family. Why are my donations rejected before even seeing them, yet you welcome donations from others? He and the manager began to speak to each other in Spanish about the issue and a black gentleman who works at the store told her that he could accept it and the hispanic man knows what he’s suppose to do. Suddenly the hispanic man decides he can take it and nothing is wrong with it ?. I won’t be donating here ever again. The first time I was greeted, assisted, and thanked by a black woman. This time, my $1k+ item is being rejected and insulted by a prejudice hispanic man. Never again, I’ll toss my items before considering donating here.

My favorite thrift store in the city. Large selection of clothing items, well organized, and has several fitting rooms.

It's always hit or miss at these types of stores but I did find this. Anytime I buy clothes I was them 2 twice just in case.
