Okay yesterday I arrived 15 min before close - they turned the lock to close as I arrived at the door.
Today I said to myself - you really need to find cheap furniture bc you have to furnish a room as you’ll have a guest by this weekend and don’t have enough furniture right now! SO MAKE SURE YOU GET THERE EARLIER.
I did. And I only could get there 30 min before they closed bc I have a job that does not allow me to leave early!
But hey, 30 min! Doable.
I walked in and went straight to the furniture as I saw where it was through the window, just yesterday.
I hear someone say something loudly. Weird.
They yelled again. So I turned around.
“We’re closed.”
?????? And the person ushered me out to leave.
Don’t say you’re open until a certain time if you’re gonna close when you feel like it. I saw a few other reviews that said something similar after I decided to look after this happened 2 consecutive times to me :)
Change your hours! And stick to them!

I don't recommend this store at all. First you can't try on the clothes and second if you don't have any and you want to return it, they steal your money telling you that you can't return the merchandise and exchange it for another item that they sell inside the store. They are rude despotic people and they attend to you horrible. They yell at people. They think it will be that the government pays them. They don't know it's that their salary comes out of our customers' pocket. You never visit this second-hand store because it's the latest

There are many things but the employees there are very bad, even the lady who works at the cashier. lousy attention. And rude...they don't want to work anymore...fixing things...the store is good, lots of furniture but the people there should be friendlier, first there is the customer

So I must say I love thrifting! Helps the economy and waste in the world. This location has some hidden gems sometimes and at a decent price. Quality of items seen fair but please have time to look. The younger employees seem to have better attitudes and customer service than the mature employees. As to my experience yesterday the mature employee that checked me out was completely rude and not understanding to my questions to the items that weren’t tagged or marked with prices. She took them out my hand as if I didn’t want them at all, one item she had a employee to go get a price and they came back with a $14 price which is beyond me for a very used items. Otherwise convenient location

Terrible customer service... the employees look like police officers and never smile, they are very rude, they don't have the slightest idea about how to treat customers... they kept me waiting for more than 15 minutes to see something in the display case... whenever I've been to that store, I've bought a lot of things, I've spent a lot of money there... but the employees don't realize that we, the customers, are the ones who pay Ella's salary... Ella's has a job thanks to the customers we leave. our money there... the employees think they own the store... it's a shame to see the kind of rude and ill-educated people who work there. ..

I don't love supporting the salvation army because I don't think they are a very ethical company. That said, sometimes second hand is what is accessible and this place has a fairly large selection. The pros-they usually have a large selection-things are organized-there is a dressing room and mirror-they have a large amount of furniture in particularThe Cons-Things are priced a little high... I likely wouldn't buy it unless it's the half price color- things are organized by type and color, NOT by size. It makes it harder to find things that work for me

The store is organized for the most part and employees generally pleasant. But it's frustrating to be unable to try the stuff on because the fitting rooms are closed for years. I contacted Salvation Army and they seemed surprised and assured to take care of it right away. Nope! The rooms are still locked. I'm tired of buying stuff thinking it'd fit but then it'd not. Waste of my money and time. The store is losing the revenue, but no one seems to care.
