Relocating to Chicago from out of town was stressful, but Michele made the enrollment process seamless and surprisingly easy. Our daughter started in the 16-month-old toddler room and immediately bonded with her amazing teachers—Mr. Adonis, Ms. Grace, Ms. Joslyn, and Ms. Sydney. They send us multiple pictures throughout the day, which we always look forward to seeing. At the end of each day, we receive a detailed snapshot of how she ate, slept, and her diaper changes. Each week, we also receive a thoughtful, two-page lesson plan outlining the class’s activities, along with a monthly lunch and snack calendar. The food is sourced through an organic, healthy vendor, and our daughter loves it!

Communication is fantastic—we can easily message her teachers through an app and always get quick responses. We also have direct access to the administration via email, phone, or in person. In just three months, we’ve seen so much growth in our daughter—she’s more confident, curious, and engaged—and she’s already made some wonderful friends.

Having previously experienced a daycare that caused us constant stress and worry, we are incredibly grateful to have found Kids Work. They make our daughter feel loved, safe, and developmentally engaged, and they’ve given us so much peace of mind.”

“Our daughter has had an incredible experience at NPCCP! The instructors are attentive to her specific needs and pour into her every day! Her love for art has grown so much as she’s been given so many creative opportunities. Her love for books and reading is nurtured everyday through storytime and quiet reading, she comes home singing songs from class, and she’s made great friends with her classmates. “Sending my son De’Mario Jr. to The Nook has been one of my proudest decisions. At first I was skeptical about having him attend a daycare. I’ve heard bad stories about daycares in general and I didn’t feel like it would be a good move to send my first son to one. One day a friend came over for a play date and informed me about The Nook and how influential they are to the progress her son has been making. Her perception of The Nook had my mind blown away. I had noticed the changes in her son and didn’t know The Nook played such a vital role in it. Still a little hesitant I had to see for myself so my partner and I decide to apply for our baby boy to attend The Nook. If I told you guys this place exceeded my expectations, that would be an understatement. The Nook has so many different factors that makes it stand out from other daycares. From circle time to music time to already getting my infant son’s brain familiar with foreign languages, The Nook really amazes me. On top of that, the love that has been shown from their employees.”Teachers”, is out of this world. Ms. Emily, Ms. Jasmine, and Ms. Tiana are just a few names that really have become like an extended family to us. Our son is genuinely attached and that comes from such a loving, caring environment. The Nook also has a app called brightwheel, which is probably one of my favorite parts, that allows the teachers to upload detailed posts about my son’s day including pictures of the time he is having while he’s away from me. As a parent I would say I 100% recommend The Nook to any other parents that are looking for such a place for their children. You won’t be disappointed. I would give more stars if I could lbs.”

“The center's respond has been great in respond to re-opening for COVID19. They were prepared weeks before - setting guidelines for students, teachers and parents.Teachers are amazing, creative, attentive and loves the children. The center is very organized and kept very clean.”

“We can't speak highly enough of this daycare. The staff and teachers at North Elston Kindercare have been so kind and flexible. They were accommodating from day one for our child's socioemotional needs -- our occupational therapist who visits our child at school speaks very highly of them too. On top of the learning and care our family receives here, they plan a ton of fun activities like bubble parties, soccer, and water days. Our child comes home happy and talks about her friends and teachers all the time!”

“Detour is a great place to send your kids too, they bring a level of security, and assurance for parents. They will help set your child in the right path to develop properly and be well rounded. The only con is there’s a slight increase at the end of each year. Regardless It a great center that I will always be grateful because they showed up when they were needed and provided great service”

“WeeCare has been home for our family for over the past 4+ years, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience! Both of our kids (ages 2 and 4) immediately loved the space, teachers, and all of the great activities (soccer, yoga, dance, etc.) so much. We are so grateful of the care they gave our kiddos and the peace of mind my husband and I got each day at pick-up and drop-off. “My little one started at children’s creative center about 7 weeks ago. He is currently 16 months and had a nanny prior. My husband and I could not be happier with our choice in sending our son to CCC. The staff is so friendly, nurturing, attentive, and caring. Our little guy says his teacher’s name (abbey) non stop.I toured many places during my day care search and I can say with confidence that we made the perfect choice. We love CCC, especially my son!”

“We were searching for a Russian speaking daycare with great food options for our child and Children's Land caught our eye. Even though there is no Russian speaking group in this location, my child's language skill improved so much due to listening to Ukrainian and practicing Russian at home. The child adjusted nicely to the daycare and made so many friends there. There are different activities for kids every day, including singing, painting and dancing. Honestly, couldn’t be happier ?”

Love the updates throughout the day through Brightwheel, the welcoming atmosphere, just how CLEAN everything is, and how easy it is to get ahold of staff and teachers. It's been so nice that the teachers provide developmental updates even on the littlest kids -- it really seems like they care about each kiddo as if they were their own. I also love the open door policy, makes it so nice to just drop in to say hi throughout the day or pickup our baby early.”

The teachers – Every single teacher is incredibly loving and patient. When our 9-month-old first started, she would cry and have tantrums every day. The teachers treated her with such care and warmth, and over time we saw a complete change: she now happily plays with her friends, reaches for her teachers, and clearly feels safe and loved.

The atmosphere – Compared with other daycares we visited, DCLP immediately stood out. The center has such a vibrant and joyful energy, and you can feel it as soon as you walk in.

The curriculum and activities – The teachers keep the days engaging and meaningful, from daily walks along the river (we loved seeing the adorable photos!) to a variety of activities that encourage development. We noticed that our daughter began hitting her milestones—rolling, crawling, standing—so much faster after joining DCLP.

Community – The staff makes a real effort to build community among families. They host a “Parents Night Out” almost every Friday, where for a small fee (under $50) kids can stay at the daycare while parents enjoy dinner or a breather. They also host summer celebrations and other fun events that bring everyone together.

Convenience – Some teachers are also available for babysitting after daycare hours. This has been incredibly helpful for us, since our baby already knows and trusts them, and we can go out knowing she’s happy and comfortable.

Cost-effectiveness – The tuition is very reasonable compared with other centers, especially considering how much is included. Diapers and food are provided, which not only saves us money but also the hassle of packing supplies every day.

We are incredibly grateful for the care, warmth, and support we’ve experienced here. If it weren’t for a family situation that requires us to spend a few months in Seattle, we would never want to leave. DCLP is a truly special place, and we recommend it wholeheartedly.”

“Gardner River North is such a great school! From the front desk staff to Miss Sydney and Mr. DJ. They really care to make sure our children our safe and learning. I appreciate always be welcome into the class and knowing that my son was good in class and getting a detailed report each day I pick him up. I also love that they send us photos and daily learning so we know what our children are doing during the day. Such a great staff! Sad to see Miss Sydney go but Mr. DJ is fabulous. I’m sure he will do a great job as well.”

“Words cannot describe how much we love Green Bean! We toured multiple daycare centers in Chicago and immediately when we walked into Green Bean we knew it was the one! Our daughter has been going there since she was just 6 months old and we have watched her thrive both socially and developmentally. The teachers and staff are amazing and truly treat each kid with kindness, so much nurturing and are always happy. The activities they do have so much thought and creativity behind them. We know when we send our daughter there she isn’t just stuck inside a classroom. They ensure the kids get music, playtime in the studio, sensory activities catered to their age, and plenty of outdoor time. Green Bean also makes it so easy on the parents as they help figure out sleep schedules, eating routines and transitioning from purees to solids. They do it all from bottles to solids and you don’t have to worry about anything.We are relocating to move across the country and we truly contemplated postponing our move until our kids went to Kindergarten because there is truly no school like Green Bean out there and we can’t image sending our kids anywhere else. We are going to miss everything about this school and so grateful for our time there!”

“We’ve been a part of TGS West Loop for the past 4 years and highly recommend it. We’ve had our boys in at least every one of their types of classes (infant through Pre-K) and I’ve been impressed with the quality of the teachers and how much they care about our students. My Kindergartener has been thriving in school and we attribute a good amount of that to the education he received at TGS. Additionally, we have met other West Loop families through school that have become our good friends, so the TGS community is an added benefit.”

“I absolutely love PAW, I felt like they were very “strict” in the beginning process but it all was for the best interest of our kids. I love what they do and my daughter has only been there for a few months but it’s definitely helping her develop and I appreciate the staff they have always been nice to us. “As a former educator, I am very particular about what I want in a school for my children. We were very nervous how the transition would go for our son who was born right at the start of COVID but through their gentle transition into school, he’s thriving. The teachers at Mary Meyer are the absolute best, they are highly qualified, truly know children, have such fun and engaging activities, but most importantly they are kind. Not only do we love the school but my son looks forward to it every day. The amount of information (and tons of pictures!!!) we receive as parents is phenomenal. The activities are very purposefully curated and spark such excitement and learning. I love that my son walks into school with a huge smile, is smiling and giggling throughout his play, and leaves smiling, often covered with bits of paint and glitter from all his adventures.”
