We wait all year for them to open again. The only place where I love the chocolate, but prefer the vanilla to chocolate. Their pies are amazing. We always get one to go.

Best custard I ever had. Recommend the Banana Splice, which comes in a very shareable size. Perfect for a date night treat!

Scooters is the spot for custard in Chicago! They have such a great mix of pure custard, concretes and sundaes that you could visit here endlessly. I particularly love anything with peanut butter and chocolate and my wife always goes for a chocolate strawberry mix. The neighborhood is quaint and the service is always excellent - even on those crazy hot summer days. Choose local and definitely choose Scooter's!

Best custard I’ve had in the city and overall just a really nice neighborhood spot. They have nice parfait type creations but I think just go for some plain old custard. Texture is perfect and flavor comes through well. Perfect on a sunny day, highly recommend stopping by.

The best frozen custard near Chicago! I love that it comes quite frozen and solid and not melty like other places. My favorite is the vanilla custard!

My favorite place in the neighborhood! The staff is always very friendly and kind. There was a time where we had to wait for the chocolate ice-cream to finish churning (we went right at opening) and they were so nice to my niece/were using distraction techniques to help her feel like the wait wasn't so long. There's a ton of seating inside! If you come during the summer, you'll see people of all ages and dogs standing around outside and sitting on the benches. The ice-cream is very creamy and like a true concrete ice cream. They always list their weekly specials which is fun to try! My favorite is anything peanut butter flavored. Their fudge is SOO good! They do have sorbet for vegans!

My wife and I really like this place. Two sizes of cones since I need to lose weight haha. My wife said her Chicago Dog was awesome! The staff was friendly and we got to sit outside on benches with others and enjoy our snack. It was a nice experience! It also cost a lot less than I was expecting. Not sure if I should type that part or not ....

This is one of Chicago's old frozen custard spots and a hidden gem. If you are from Chicago or planning to visit, this is a must place for dessert. They have varieties of concretes, malts, shakes and ice-creams. The prices are good and service is quick. I would recommend the Java Lava or Caramel Fudge Nut Brownie Chip concrete which is the one I am holding.

Amazing combinations of ice cream here! Got the PB&J concrete - delicious! Love how creative they are with different options of custard mixes, shakes, and ice cream. Easy service, they even have a window on the side for easy pickup. Definitely recommend!

SMH sad to say this but this place looks like it has good ice cream and food and it must have it but my review for this place will be a ONE star had a bad vibe from cashier and people working there almost as if they are racist had to walk out as there face said everything like they didn’t want me as a customer maybe because I am not Caucasian/white would have loved to tried their food and ice cream upset about my experience there
