I went to Sephora yesterday to pick out makeup for my birthday, and I had such a great experience! Thomas was incredibly nice and helpful—he took the time to match my skin perfectly and even got help from another amazing associate (I wish I remembered her name!). She was so knowledgeable about skincare and made me feel truly cared for, especially since I have rosacea and sensitive skin. She recommended several great products, and I felt safe trusting her advice.
Even though I came in an hour before closing, I never felt rushed. The team took their time, making sure I had everything I needed. The cashier was also super patient and helpful. Overall, the whole experience was welcoming and positive. I’ll definitely be coming back! 😊

I visited this Sephora location specifically for Haus Labs, a brand recommended by my friend. Upon arrival, the first associate who greeted me directed me to an employee, whose name I believe is Hodgee. She mentioned that she has been working at this location for 10 years, which is why I initially trusted that I was in good hands. Unfortunately, my experience quickly became uncomfortable.
Rather than focusing on what I was looking for, Hodgee immediately pointed out my hyperpigmentation and began giving unsolicited skincare advice. While I understand the nature of upselling, as I work in customer service myself, leading with what’s “wrong” instead of what can be enhanced made me feel self-conscious rather than supported. She also made presumptive comments about my personal life and struggles, which felt invasive. Even after I acknowledged that I was aware of my skin’s condition, she continued to compare my situation to her own, making the interaction feel less about assisting me and more about her personal narrative.
Throughout the experience, multiple associates walked by, visibly noticing my discomfort, yet no one intervened. Hodgee struggled to keep track of the foundation shades she was applying, testing four different ones on my face, making me feel even more uncertain about whether there was a suitable match for me. After some back and forth, she redirected me to the Sephora brand, even though I felt we had already found a match with the initial brand. She appeared distracted, had difficulty reading labels, and ultimately had to call for assistance. By the time another associate came over, I was overwhelmed to the point of tears and had a full-blown anxiety attack. Instead of stepping in to properly assist, the associate still deferred back to Hodgee, who offered me a seat and water—far too little, far too late.
I never want to jeopardize anyone’s livelihood, but I am in disbelief at how this situation unfolded. As a Black woman, I specifically chose this location because my friend, who is also Black, recommended it as a space where we would feel represented and comfortable. Ironically, in a store with so much representation, I have never felt more alone. I left with nothing but tears.
I hope Sephora takes this feedback seriously and ensures that employees are more mindful, empathetic, and professional in their approach to customer service. No one should walk into a beauty store seeking guidance and leave feeling worse about themselves.

The customer service I received was absolutely terrible. It felt as if I was speaking with someone who held racist views. Because of my accent, the customer service representative told me that she refused to help me find products, stating that I wasn't the only one who needed assistanceShe then went on to assist customers who had just walked in. It was a middle-aged Hispanic woman.

If I could give this location a zero, I would.
I had a terrible experience while holiday shopping here, specifically due to associate Ana and her lack of professionalism and discrimination and the culmination of incidents that occurred—Ana’s refusal to assist, racial profiling, unprofessional behavior, and false accusations—left my family and me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. It is profoundly upsetting that such behavior could occur at a Sephora store, particularly when we were loyal customers contributing to your business during the holiday season.
Sephora, I hope you better train your employees to create a positive shopping experience for this location.

I scheded a full face of makeup with T. I wanted a natural matte look. I gave 2 stars because of T' s customer service. She is very customer friendly. However, I did not like my makeup. The color was lighter than my skin so I had a pale look. I paid $60 and they use poor quality makeup. Stylist used one eye shadow. Mid session I canceled my head shots because of the glare from camera over my face. I won't be back for makeup service.

Horrible customer service by Trudy.
I did my Christmas shopping here. All staffs are so sweet and helpful, except for this staff name Trudy, who checked me out at check out. Trudy was extremely rude and gave me her full attitude for no reason. She talked to customer like she was on the street. Yelled at my face, embaracing me infront of other customers and staffs “enter your phone number!”, “what color?”. Beside her rudeness and laziness, she gave me false information. When i asked her questions, she responded with “no” first to make me feel wrong; then, she gave me an answer with the exact same info that I just said- you’re so “smart”, Trudy!
After spending $300 there, I don’t deserve this kind of customer service. I hope managent will take in my feedback regarding this staff’s performance.

I like the brands of skincare and makeup that Sephora carries, however I didn’t feel comfortable shopping in store yesterday after one of the employees quickly rushed up to me while I was picking out a foundation, and asked what I was looking for after I was already helped out by another employee. I told her I was there to purchase a particular item (that I had done research on prior to my visit), and she brought me another foundation to purchase instead.
I kindly declined, and when I walked away to look at other items in the store, she kept staring at me the entire time as if I was stealing or something. I assume it is because I’m Hispanic, which made me feel uneasy and quick to purchase my item without looking at anything else.
Also, I don’t appreciate employees trying to sell me random products that I have no clue what the ingredients are in them. Whenever I purchase makeup, I will do research on every ingredient in the product and read reviews beforehand due to the fact that I’m diagnosed with multiple inflammatory skin conditions (one of them being autoimmune related). Being knowledgeable about makeup does not make one a dermatologist. It would be appreciated if employees respected their customers’ boundaries and not assume they are stealing or being rude just because they did not go with a product they recommended.

The best selection and staff! They are never overly pushy but always helpful and giving.
I always find what I need and get checked out quick.
This is easily one of my favorite Sephoras and it’s my local!

I am disappointed with the Sephora product I bought a lipstick. I applied this lipstick 2 or 3 times its color was changed differently and it is not long-lasting as they said to me it is a good product. I don't have any words to say about this product. The first time I bought something from there the experience was horrible.

I go to Sephora a lot but had started just shopping online because I never get the care I need. Today that changed! I went in this Sephora and a guy named Joshua was EXCELLENT! He was patient and knew the products! He gave me recommendations and color matched me like nobody else has been able to do! He showed me how to use products and all! Thank you Joshua! You deserve an award!!!! I needed the uplift today!

My wife and I absolutely love this Sephora. Close proximity to an area where I used to study during undergrad as well as retail shops. Just picked up Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb Nectar for Svitlana!
