I walked in bought a couple of items. Clerk behind counter asked if I wanted a bag I said no. Then I decided to get a bag so I asked for 1 she said I asked if u wanted one and u said no. I told her I changed my mind. She said they cost 7cents. I told her i could pay for it with my card cuz i didnt know they would charge me for that. She was unnecessarily snippy.proceeded to say well this is Chicago. Ur at a gas station rite off interstate 55. Not everyone is from Chicago. That is very unprofessional. Absolutely ugly attitude. Something so small. I think u need to retrain staff on manners and customer service friendly skills. Don' assume. I really think she was bothered by the fact she had to ring my stuff up becuz I was interrupting her phone call or tv show. It was soo loud I thought she was saying something to me.

Esmeralda has to be the worst employee you guys haveThis is the 3rd time she declines me and other customers using debit cardsShe always puts the excuse that system is down and new system every time and points at the lottery tablet behind her like we’re stupid and has the worst attitudeIs lazy and just wants to be on her phone2 nights ago I went to 4 Walgreens and gas stations for milk for my 2 kids and couldn’t none. Only your gas station I asked her if I could pay $5 with my card and $1 in cash I had and like always her excuse new system it’s down and points at lottery machine so I had to drive 5 miles to Walmart at 10pm because she was lazy this is unacceptable and if she don’t get fired I will contact the Better Business Bureau in this store and leave a complaint with BBB online

unlike the other review its not that hard to use one of the doors instead of having both doors accessible. sometimes it may be confusing but they're get the hang of it. its really cute on the inside i personally love it. i live in the area and the car wash hasnt worked in years but again theres a car wash across from it.

Gas is a bit lower priced than nearby gas stations, thus two stars instead of one. However, several issues.1. There are two doors that appear to be the main entrance to the convenience store; these are blocked off with trash cans. I saw an employee outside and asked if the convenience store was open; she said yes and I should use the side door. When I asked about the blocked off doors and lack of signage, she said all her customers know to use the side door, they're used to it. Later, she looked and said someone had taken down the signage/arrows about using the side door and she put the semi-understandable signs back up.2. The car wash - apparently they used to have an on-site car wash but they closed it down and now they're partnering with Snappy car wash across the street. This is extremely unclear. The old car wash is bricked up although the entrance is still present. I imagine plenty of people have paid for a car wash at the pump, then gone looking for it and couldn't find it. Then they give up and leave in frustration even though they paid for a car wash. After getting turned around quite a bit I went to the Snappy car wash (which also has very poor signage to direct you by the way). Again, presumably all the regular customers are already familiar with this setup.
