Friday the 8th i stopped in.The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and insightful. I bought 2 gallons of Dakota Wheat. And the gentleman REMINDED me; when he asked about primer, that i needed a can. A JOB WELL DONE!!

I have had a couple of decent experiences here in the past, however recently i went to get some price quotes for a job and the girl at the register says " you need this now?" sounding somewhat surprised. I said yes and was told id need to wait until "the end of the day or maybe even Monday" (it was a Saturday morning) It was a short list of 8 items or less that could have easily been generated in a minute or two (as i have previously had done at several other SW locations) There was only one other person browsing the store. She asked for an email and a phone number to get back to me with the info and I never heard back! I knew it'd be an issue when she couldn't get me the prices for items right on the computer screen in front of her so i called a different store near oak lawn and very easily got the quotes instantly over the phone. If you need anything more than the bare necessities, pick a different location lol.

Ohhhh, the paints are perfect for today's look. Remodeling is never easy when it comes to home decor, but I can say that Sherwin-Williams makes it so much more easier. If you like a color at your home and would like to match it up, all you have to do is bring in a sample of that color and they will match it up perfectly with this state of the art machine that not only picks up the color but will print out the label on the colors used and will store it there. So if you ever never that color but no longer have the swatch, just let them know and they will show you the colors you used in the past. I find this to be an awesome idea and I have already used this concept a few times. This time coming in I needed a dove gray but didn't have the swatch so they just looked through my account (name and address, LOL) and BAMM! I had my perfectly matched color with no problems. I do have to say though that I know prices go up everywhere but their prices have gone up a lot more then I remember. I guess you are paying for quality though as if your paint didn't take the first time, they will give you another gallon to make sure it covers. Hmmm, but still the price has got me a little baffled and gives me the forced rating of only a 3. Quality wise its really good, but price wise it hurts just a tad to pay almost $60 for a galloon of great paint, I may settle for mediocre paint next time. Nah, I really like the quality so I will be back.

Had a great experience here with staff - specifically Abigail! She was super helpful in showing me how to match colors to a photo I had. She answered all my questions and shared knowledge regarding paint quality and finishes.

I have little knowledge of stains, fortunately, the salesman Dan, or Danny, was very knowledgeable. He treated me as if me being there was important to him, and as corny as it sounds, I actually felt that he was glad that I was there. He took time to explain things to me very thoroughly and made sure I had all the necessary information and tools to complete the project. I have only been in 3 stores in the last 5 years where I have been so happy with the service person.

He explained the stores category pricing on paints for wood, masonry, and metal along with their repective warranties ( VERY HELPFULL ). ANTHONY helped make the decision making very stream lined and specific to our painting needs with no unnecessary upsells, just exactly what we needed a...KNOWLEDGEABLE , HONEST , PROFESSIONAL , and COURTEOUS INDIVIDUAL.
