Love the selection and commitment to care. We just got our first art piece for our home from an artist I couldn't stop thinking about. We love the aesthetic, - vintage, contemporary, modern but not too trendy. I want our pieces in our home to be lifelong pieces. We're always treated so well whether we're buying something large or small. We are happy to return soon. Thank you Beth, Jon, Carmen, Erica and the rest of the team.

Think twice about buying online from this business. I learned of them through the Chairish app and then discovered they have a website so I bought directly through that a lamp I'd been eyeing. Unfortunately, the photos of them item they'd posted on their site weren't sufficient to reveal a pretty obvious defect in the lamp socket itself -- it's alarmingly bent to such a degree that a light bulb almost won't screw in without breaking. They had to have known this, but failed to disclose it to buyers. When I complained via email (that's their preferred mode of communication) they didn't even bother to respond. I wish I'd known about this defect in advance -- I wouldn't have bought the lamp.

South Loop Loft deals in an eclectic range of vintage and antique furnishings and decorative objects. Many have high price tags, but more than a fair amount do not. I always thought that businesses that primarily conduct their business by appointment only would be out of my price range. Beth, the owner, does not specialize in high priced goods only. I receive periodic emails from her and happened on to the most recent one. I had pretty much selected my dining table but was in a quandary about the chairs. Couldn't afford much for them and needed a minimum of 4, however 6 would work as well. Looked at CB2 and found a chair for $169 each. However, after reading the email and perusing the new arrivals I spotted and fell in love with a set of six unique chairs that are from the arts and crafts movement for $700. I emailed my interest and set up an appointment and voila, I am now the proud owner of these lovely chairs. So, my advice is do not be put off by the appointment only/mainly thing. Beth is very professional and isn't pushy and lets you have your time and space while you look, browse and mull it over. They are open on Saturdays, but that is generally not a good time for me to shop. Check out the website and if something catches your eye make an appointment. Insider tip...not everything is on the website. There are lots of decorative items that are not listed. So now, what do you say?

We live in Princeton, NJ and recently purchased a set of 8 Louis XVI dining chairs on-line. The items were just as described on the site and the transaction was very easy. When the chairs arrived we were thrilled with the quality and style - the chairs were tastefully restored and fit perfectly in our dining room. Beth was extremely responsive to all of our questions as I was a little nervous about buying the chairs without actually having seen them. The shipping company Beth selected was also excellent and delivered our chairs on Thanksgiving day - true white glove service. I recommend South Loop Loft to anyone looking for that perfect, eclectic item.

Close your eyes and think of the perfect mix of style, top quality, gorgeous artistic lines, expert finishes, the best, most luxurious woods and you'll see South Loop Loft. A beautiful dream is to have Beth Berke and her talented staff to design my house furnishings throughout. That's what I would do if I were to win the lottery! For those of us who haven't, their prices are fair and commensurate with their quality.
