I've been going to this Sports Clips for the past few years. They provide good service when they are not busy.Their new hire Ernesto has an attitude problem. I've never had an issue with a stylist at this location other than him. Bad hire.Unfortunately there aren't many other options walking distance in South loop so I'll be back. ?

I want to say thanks for the team at this location for helping accommodate me.... the fact that they were able to squeeze me in and get me taken care of before I had to get back to work was beyond anything I could have asked for..... thanks for the great cut and speedy service.... appreciate you all.... thank you.

Solid experience. I had the MVP package haircut and beard trim. Staff was super friendly, and upgraded me to the Ultimate MVP package for free. Extra long hair wash and scalp massage was incredibly relaxing. I checked in using the app and the wait time was accurate. Valerie did a great job, and I had several compliments on my haircut right afterwards. I parked on the street half a block away so it wasn't bad driving over.The only strange thing that happened (which is not a critique against sports clips nor it's staff) was a man walked in, and the staff said "Welcome to sports clips, did you already check in online?" And the dude just fell apart. He wanted to know why he was being forced to sign into Google to get a haircut. The staff said, "you don't have to sign into Google, just add your name on the tablet to join the wait list." He then said, "this QR code takes me to Google Reviews". And the staff said, "Oh, no. That paper off to the side is to leave a review. Use the tablet to get your name on the list." And the guy got really agitated and said, "That's it! I'm leaving. I don't need this. And I'm going to write you a bad review." And he stormed off. The staff seemed concerned at first but then shrugged it off and stayed professional.Really, I had a solid experience. I hope that dude finds peace!

Allow me to regale you with the tale of my unforgettable visit.Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by the lone staff member on duty. With the warmth and enthusiasm of an iceberg, she inquired whether I had signed in. Little did I know that signing in was the sacred ritual required to unlock the privilege of receiving a haircut. Silly me, assuming that paying for a service was sufficient!But lo and behold, my initiation into the mysteries of this Sport Clips location was not complete. The staff member pointed me in the direction of the counter, where an enigmatic QR code beckoned me. Being the curious soul that I am, I scanned it, only to be whisked away to the ethereal realm of the shop's Google page. Ah, a stroke of genius! Why merely provide a sign-in sheet when you can cleverly prompt customers to leave a Google review before they've even had the pleasure of experiencing your services?In my naivety, I mustered the audacity to question the rationale behind this delightful strategy. I summoned the courage to ask the staff member why I had to leave a review before receiving a haircut. To my astonishment, she abandoned her position attending to another customer, ventured over to the counter, and gestured towards the QR code sheet with an air of unbridled sarcasm. How could I have been so foolish? The answer was right in front of me all along!But that was not the end of my enlightening encounter. The staff member, now fully invested in showcasing her exceptional communication skills, directed my attention to the computer terminal, informing me that this was the sacred ground upon which I was meant to sign in. It became abundantly clear that she possessed an uncanny ability to discern whether I had adhered to the proper sign-in procedure, despite her initial inquiry.What a joy it was to witness such dedication to the craft! I couldn't help but admire the staff member's blatant disregard for the concept of logic and her extraordinary talent for making new customers feel truly cherished. Clearly, she takes great pride in tarnishing the brand and ensuring that prospective paying customers like myself are left dumbfounded and exasperated.In conclusion, I must commend Sport Clips for providing an experience unlike any other. Hilda is PERFECTION! Ever since moving to Chicago last May, I've had trouble finding a stylist and experience that I really like. No longer is that the case! Hilda is extremely skilled, sweet, and professional. I've tried several other barbershops around the city (far more pricey, might I add!) before discovering her, and nothing compares to the quality you get with Hilda. She is a gem.Services: Haircut

I get a simple haircut - #1 on the sides and #4 on top. The staff at Sportclips can handle that quickly and easily. The shop is clean and bright. Beyond that, I can't add much.

My brother got the most horrible hair cut of his life he came out so mad! I definitely don't recommend this place!!
