This is by far the greatest mistake doing my taxes in this place. They did not file my 2016 state taxes. When I called them in 2021, they tried to come up with every excuse. Yeah for some reason the State sent the problem in 2021 - 5 years after to me. I would have rather dealt with it right away. 1 The stupid lady they sent to call me back said they didn't do my taxes here. Asking me if I was sure. They said there was no record on file. I then submitted proof with past emails, submissions and receipts. 2. After proving I did my taxes here they said my wife didn't give all her information. I then showed proof in the attachments and past emails that it was sent. 3. Upon showing proof that emails were sent, the owner kept making excuses to call me back in 2 days. (Probably finding a way to get out of it) 4. I then called back and sent further emails, which supported my claim. 5. The owner kept saying that I need to pay my state taxes. I explained that I know that. The problem though is that the state taxes were never filed and because of a mistake on his team's part. The lady with the smart mouth messed it up. I just can't understand why businesses like this exist. They don't complete their job and they make people pay money for it. This is just bad business. Now I have to pay $524 in penalities for a lousy job. They did not complete the service that I paid for. I have never had this problem before. A business in which their stories keep changing and making excuses not to do their jobs. The owner was so unprofessional dealing with their mistakes. After explaining to him he said he didn't care and I need to pay. It would be nice to pay if they actually completed the state taxes to begin with! Stay far, far, far away from this place if you plan to get your taxes done.
