I dropped of 2 coats & a sweater, and my bill was $58. Super reasonable prices compared to other dry cleaners in the area. The items were ready quickly. I’ll definitely be coming back again! Also the lady at the front is so kind and friendly!

Worst experience ever. Gave them my clothes, and they smelled like wet laundry when they returned them. No refund was given. Management is rude.Service: Laundry wash & fold

I ordered alteration for my dress. It was expensive dress of Maxmara weekend, so I was worrying how it will be. But it was really nice work!

I'm honestly speechless. I came to Sterling Cleaners to get the zipper on my coat replaced and have it dry cleaned. They did an excellent job with that...but they also sewed up the tattered inside of the jacket which I didn't ask them to do and they didn't charge me for. Kudos and thank you, I'm very happy!!Services: Clothing alterations & repairs

Not only did they overcharge, they damaged my moncler jacket. They also did not remove the stains and said they said cleaning is not guaranteed. What kind of dry cleaner does that? Also, seams are ripped at the pockets. Never take your stuff here. My warning should've been my first time walking in to drop something off and a guy yelling at the shop owner saying his time wasn't clean and he wasn't paying. Ugh I wish I listened.

They do both great dry cleaning as well as tailoring here. I also appreciate that they have extended hours, which is why I choose them over other dry cleaners that are closer to me. I brought in a silk blouse that I was a little nervous about tailoring, and the work done was just first class.

I haven’t lived in the building for months now, but that’s what led to this review - I miss this dry cleaner! I used the Sterling Cleaners for 2+ years and not only was their work of quality, but the character of the couple that runs it were very quality people. They were always so kind and accommodating with any quick turnarounds. Highly recommend!

They put a brand new lining in an older (purchased at Marshall Field's, not Macys), very long, wool winter coat. EXCELLENT JOB!!!! The coat is practically new again. Will use their services again & again.

I asked this lady in every way possible if I could get a price quote and her response each time was "just bring in". I know that there can sometimes be language barriers , I work as a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles so I'm very used to that. I explained to her that my case was a little unique in that I needed same-day service. I needed buttons swapped out on a suit and waist alterations on a stretch fitted dress. Then she began to tell me how busy she was today and to just bring it in.... so, not only will I not be receiving a price quote but you are telling me to bring it in in hopes that you can get it done and also in hopes that your prices fit my budget?? This is not the way you handle business in a progressive city and area like Chicago. She should expect a certain caliber of customers who asked questions and expect answers. "Just bring in" ain't bout to happen sis.
