My first and last visit was very disappointing. I had intentions to buy some poppers right after work since it’s conveniently around the corner. This older man standing behind the display case then comes up to me, and was asking for a dollar, I thought it was a joke. I’ve never payed for an admission fee just to browse inside an adult store. It was very discouraging to want to explore even more.
Fellas if you need a place to unload, I have the perfect mouth for you to unload follow me on Twttr cox_suxr

I've been attending to this Store for a couple years now, i usually go there between 1 or 2 times a week. Clerk are friendly and very open minded as long as you behave like a civilized Normal person and don't do stupid things or disrespect the clerk or other costumers. Yes they charge $1 entrance fee to weed out Homeless and problematic cheap people and sadly most walk-ins don't understand the reasoning behind this.
It's very simple, walk in, pay your fee, follow the rules, pay your time if you are in the Arcade and I'm sure you and everyone will have a good time. ?

So, yes; the counter clerks are not overly friendly and somewhat mechanical, I wouldn't say they are rude, just not bubbly and outgoing. Think about where you are before judging them. If you have the same service expectation here as you do at Loews Hotel, then you need to recalibrate your expectations.
Those commenting on discrimination, I have not seen discrimination as much as holding customers accountable for not listening and making sure those in a booth are putting money in the machines. I have seen white, black, hispanic, asain, and many other patrons in this establishment. I have seen some asked to leave and some simply to put money in the machine. However, it has nothing to do with race or ethnicity ,it has to do with actions and behavior. If your behavior does not adhere the rules and you are asked to correct your behavior or leave and you also happen to be white, blacks, hispanic, asian, or other, it just so happens that is your born race and ethnicity and you didn't follow the rules; that's NOT discrimination. Stop claiming discrimination because you were not following the rules. The store is for straight, gay,bi, trans, purple, blue, and everyone else that is able to follow the rules of thos private establishment.
It's not the cleanest of establishments and based on the business model, I think anyone going with that expectation is naive.
If you have been there for 8 hours and are pissy because they ask you to leave, get over yourself. If you need to be there longer than 8 hours, you have issues greater than being asked to leave.
Finally, why would people state this business shouldn't be open? That makes no more sense than saying McDonald's shouldn't be open. Just because YOU don't like the store, doesn't mean others dislike it as well. I think McDonald's is gross, but they have the right to be open. Guess what, I just don't go there , no one forces me to go to this store or any other store. It is 100% my choice. If you hate it, don't go, very simple.
If you don't know what this store offers, do your due diligence and find out. If you don't like what they offer, don't go, if you go and realize it offends you, leave. It's really that simple.
If you are preaching that it's against God's will, how do know? Have you been there? Hmmm. Either way, Baby Jesus isn't everyone's thing. They aren't protesting that your church should be closed. Trust, I have seen more than one person there immediately after church service; just saying, maybe they need more worship.
Don't post reviews of hate when the problem isn't that of the business, the problem is YOU. Stop whining and don't go or go somewhere else. You control where you go, where you stay, and where you don't ! Stop placing blame of you bad behavior on your race or ethnicity, blame it on yourself as an individual. If you are purple, don't follow the rules, and are asked to leave; it has nothing to do with you being purple.
If you know about the store, it is what it is AND IT ACCOMPLISHES IT'S MISSION. It's not fancy, it's not spotless, the service is not perfect, BUT it serves a purpose and a need for the community and it hurts NO ONE.
