The Last Chapter Book Shop is a unique bookstore that stocks only romance novels, covering all the niches of the genre. It is a cute place with an entire vibe, described as amazing and wonderful. The shop offers a spectacular selection and provides a great place to sift through gems. Beyond books, it also sells awesome products like stickers, bookmarks, totes, cups, and candles inspired by written romances. The experience is fun, with little sections and beautiful Instagram photo-ops, including cute selfie stations or rooms. A popular option is the "blind date with a book" for those not sure where to start. The owner restocks frequently, and the staff are super friendly and great. The shop feels like home when you walk in, making it a highly recommended place to really indulge in the aesthetic of books you love.
This is one of the BEST independent bookstores in Chicago - owned and operated by a chicago-native BIPOC woman <3 There are some other bookstores in the area - but this is by far the best one to support!

I hadn't been for awhile because the last time I went through shelves were a little sparce and when I tried to pay via tap on my phone it wasn't working BUT they rearranged everything and it looks great, the selection is good and I'll be back

Romance book heavenš I literally have no complaints. Itās decorated so beautifully and the staff is so nice. A little PRICEY, but it was a self care day so I decided to splurgeš¤·š¾āāļø. They also have a Blind Date with a Book section which I thought was really cool.
