The view & atmosphere were nice and relaxing. Our grade boys and moms enjoyed being there. Will definitely recommend it. The food was just ordinary.

As my father would say, “This is a restaurant you don't go to for the food, but rather the ambiance.” The views of the city from the 67th floor of the Sears Tower are incredible. The food is just okay. I got their prime rib special, which came with a salad. Everything was good, but not worth the money I paid for it. The restaurant could have put some mashed potatoes and a vegetable on the plate, but they want you to pay an extra $10 for a mashed potato side. The service was impeccable, but I should mention that they charge an automatic 20% service fee (that is not supposed to be understood as tip or gratuity). Lastly there are two sister restaurants - pick the Frame if you want a more casual dining experience and the Craftsman if you want more formal (you can order from either menu whichever side you choose to sit).

Wow, the restaurant really went above and beyond - and then some - to make this meal extremely special for my parent's 50th anniversary! Such service, in advance and during the meal. What views! So many special touches. I can't thank the staff enough - such exceptional service. Thank you!

The Metropolitan is one of my favorite dining spots in Chicago. It's always s special treat. Excellent cuisine. Attentive and courteous staff. An exciting venue with sweeping views of the city. However, this time the iced tea was subpar. Though next time it will be better! I'll be back.

The window seats were open, but reserved for members. The food was fair, however nothing blew us away. The price did not match the quality of food. The process of checking in was somewhat confusing and slow.

The food was delicious and the views were incredible. We were charged a 20% service charge that was described by our server as a facility fee, so then we felt like we were expected to tip on top of that. Obviously the restaurant was very nice, but the menu prices reflect that, so I'm not sure why a 20% facility fee would be charged. I've dined all over the city and never encountered this, so it was off putting.

Outside of the fortress process of getting up to the 67th floor, it was excellent service, extremely personable staff, a stunning view amongst the most delicious meal. We got the oysters, lobster bisque was seriously AMAZING, the prime rib with mashed potatoes and mushrooms. All of it was very tasty and the peanut butter espresso martini was an amazing dessert cocktail

Food was terrible, view is okay, just go to get a drink. Got ribs and was basically inedible, manager did not take it off the check when I brought it to their attention.

Drinks not very strong. Food was basic. But everything else was great. Lots of photo opportunities and wonderful staff.

Service was very bad they gave no utensils then gave dirty plates from the table next to us. Steak was dry and I ordered 16oz wagyu medium also didn't have any flavor. They had a steak sauce that was good but it had a spicy kick to it and I don't want a spicy steak. Appetizers and sides were good especially the cornbread, calamari, mash, and Mac and cheese. Other than that it wasn't anything to rant about.

Very good experience with the bartender and server! Host was really helpful and nice . This place is super friendly and very clean I highly recommended for the views.
