My furniture was ordered 11/13/2023. The furniture was delivered 12/22/2023. The issue was not the furniture, or the delivery. One of the drivers, "Julio" ( his real name) asked to use my bathroom. Seeing no issue, I agreed. Full disclosure: I've periodically had issues with my toilet. I took some of the plastic from the sofa downstairs, having nothing else to do. I came back up, enter a side of the apartment, and now see where the toilet has overflowed, continuing to do so, and that there is fecal matter on top of the toilet, about to come over. Julio asks if i have a bucket and a cloth of some kind. Of course he doesn't want to use his hands to grab his excrement. I get him a bucket, and tell him to use a cloth hanging on the shower rod. I have a bucket with my mop in it (where I leave it in case I want to mop my small apartment). I tell him I'm going to find the maintenance man Tony (his real name). Tony's already on the floor where I reside, accompanied by another staff. I tell him what the problem is, and he agrees to see to it as soon as possible. I go back inside the apartment, and see Julio pick up the fecal matter with a plastic container. I did not give any such container to Julio. It is not registering. I resume taking plastic and cardboard to the dumpster. I meet Julio in the apartment. The floor is dry, the sofa looks fine. I notice there is a container in the bucket I'd given Tony. I e-sign off on his phone, signaling the delivery is done, the assignment is completed. I go back to my apartment, and look in the bathtub, and look in the bucket. I see plastic, that looks like a microwave top. I no longer choose to believe what I think use my microwave container for. I look into my microwave oven, and the container is not there. I am beyond livid .That is reprehensible, completely unprofessional, disgusting behavior. I call the store, but no one seems to be available.. I leave a message on 630 783 8000 number, as well as the email address. a Nicole (real name) calls me back. I inform her of the issue. She apologizes profusely, and suggests a discount off the delivery charge. I agree, and decide some hours later, that I want a different resolution: a written apology from the company, an acknowledgment that some action was taken regarding Julio's very poor customer service delivery, and a new microwave. Harry Kang asked for the name, model, and serial number of my old microwave, with the possibility of replacing it. I had no idea: I'd already taken it downstairs to the dumpster, knowing I'd never use it again. I do not have a car, am not currently employed, and do not funds to pay a Lyft/Uber to bring it home.....which i wouldn't have to do if Julio hadn't used my microwave container to scoop out fecal matter from the toilet in the first place. I've spoken to Nicole, Ronetta, Harry Kang, and most recently, Ms. Christine Kamradt regarding this matter. My requests seem just, appropriate, and fair. Truth be told, if this is settled in the manner that I have requested, I would probably shop at The Room Place again. I just want The Room Place and the people they hire to be responsible and accountable for their actions.

I didn't have a delivery from The Room Place, but my neighbor did and the drivers were unprofessional and rude. Basically parked right next to my car when there was plenty of parking in front of the house they were deriving to. I guess it's easier to squeeze next to my parked car and expect others driving by to have to squeeze through on the other side. I came outside to look at how close the truck was to my car. I asked him if he could park any closer to my car and asked him why he couldn't just park behind my car as the street was completely empty. I guess it was to difficult to have to walk a couple extra feet from the back of the truck to the house. I went to take a picture of how close the delivery truck was to my car and he ran up to me telling me there's nothing wrong and how he is a professional driver. I told him I was taking a picture as a precaution in case there was any damage after they left as it was dark and I couldn't even walk through to check. He got pissed off and started threatening me because I took a picture. All I asked was why he couldn't park in front of the house they were delivering to! I called The Room Place Customer Service to put in a complaint about their unprofessional drivers and I was told they use a third party delivery service and that a supervisor would call me back during business hours the next day. Well I didn't receive a call back. Will never order from this company and advise others to do the same. These delivery guys probably didn't have a driver's license because they moved when I took another picture and told them I was calling the police for harassment

Customer service is alway excellent. Very friendly and clean place. I been getting all my furniture from here for the past 10 years.

Checked out the roomplace when looking for a couch. A saleswoman approached us and was helping us out. We mentioned we did not want any custom patterns/cloths for the couch because we were hoping to have a couch delivered asap. When asking if the couch came in any other colors to be delivered asap the saleswoman told us no, the only options would be an extra wait/custom order. Her store manager very aggressively and rudely interrupted her and said that she was WRONG (his literal choice of words) then proceeded to show us more pattern/cloth options that were NOT available fast and would be a custom order, which is not what we were looking for. I told him she was not wrong and we were specifically asking about options that were available immediately. It was so awkward and uncomfortable and really ruined the chances of any sales. I do not recommend coming here and cannot believe that's how the store manager conducts himself in front anyone let alone possible customers.

Rasheed has excellent customer service skills! He was very professional in explaining the details of my order, hold time frame…. He was also very patient. ( even called the GM to make sure he was giving me accurate information)he was VERY PATIENT with me even though I always have a hard time making up my mind! Y’all go shop with him

My wife and I went to HassleLess Mattress for their "sale and I'm beatable prices" LOL. We then stopped at the roomplace to compare their sale to H M's. Not only were the prices better at the roomplace but we had a great sales person Karla Colula. Karla was personable, patient & not pushy. After we told her our preference she showed us all the mattresses that fit our needs and told us the differences. Without commuting to a mattress we then had her showing us head boards and bed side tables. She may have felt we were waisting her time but never wavered in providing information. We then ended our time with her by purchasing a mattress & box spring set head board and side tables. What a great experience it was working with Karla. Thanks roomplace and Karla.

We had a great experience mattress shopping and were helped by one of the mangers, Melie, who really knew her stuff. With a big purchase like this, it was really helpful! We’ve bought multiple pieces throughout the years and Room Place is always great!

Our sales person, Enrique, was patient and very helpful. No pressure for a purchase. Gave us space and time to decide and very polite every step of the process. We will definitely come back should the need for more furniture arise.

I went in over the weekend shopping for a sectional. I worked with Humberto who was very polite when he greeted me at the door. He listened for what I was looking for and was able to show me a several options with different color options and shape/size that would work best for my apartment. He wasn’t pushy and gave me space until I decided on the sectional I liked best. I would definitely recommend working with Humberto. I will be back to again when I need new furniture.
