Stay away from Three's Kompany Hair Design on Pulaski. Tell ya friends tell ya moms. My birthday is on Friday so I decided I wanted to get my hair dyed. I've gone to Three's Kompany about 3x total. 1st visit: Luis gave me a trim and some color and I loved it. Next 2 visits I went with Donna and that was a huge mistake. This time around I wanted to try something new so I was going with a balayage. This would be the first time I ever do anything drastic to my hair so I was extremely nervous. Picture #1 is what I asked for. Picture #2 and #3 is the orange oompa-loompa mess she gave me November 19th. As you can see, it is NOTHING like the picture. How much for that? $80 plus tip. I have messages to show that i did show her the hairstyle I wanted prior to my visit with her. After my visit, I messaged Donna telling her it's not what I asked for and if she can fix it. She agreed. I was appreciative of that. I went in yesterday (November 24) and she gave me pictures #4, #5, #6, and #7. Again, nothing like what I asked for. During my visit I was livid because I told her I want what the picture shows. She says that she needs to bleach my hair then if I want that and mentions she can't do it without it. I was so confused because She did not mention this during my first visit. I assumed she could make my hair light enough without bleaching. If she knew she could not give me exactly what I wanted, why not tell me before starting? I would've taken my business elsewhere!! I am not the expert, she is. Her name is on the wall. She's the one with the certificates! People go to her because they trust her! She could have told me, as the professional she's supposed to be. She did not communicate at all. Instead she makes my hair orange and then tries to "fix" it but clearly has no idea what she's doing. That is not a balayage. That is a disaster and looks like wearing a f****** hat for the holidays/birthday. You know what's more messed up? She makes me pay for her mistake! She tells me if I want it fixed it's another $80. By the end, she tells me I can just pay $50. I shouldn't have paid for anything because you're supposed to fix it and give me what I asked for??? Money hungry and inconsiderate. As much as I wanted to walk out, I paid. A total of $140 all together. I should have stayed with Luis because he would've done a much better job and given me what I asked for. It's been a tough year but at least be f****** fair to your clients. Lesson learned.
