I love shopping here for new parents! They have such great inventory and the service is fantastic. They're so kind and patient. Every corner of the store is so precious and well organized. The value of what you're purchasing is great too! Everything is very well thought out.

I bought a pram/stroller. When I picked it up I asked to borrow a dolly to take to my car. The man said no, no I’ll take it to you. Put your hazards on. I looked back to see him coming. I went to my car put the hazards on opened the trunk and he was no where to be found. Didn’t call me or text me. I waited then called the store. After the third time someone answered. I recognized the voice. Where are you?! Oh I lost you. I walked four blocks. Tell me where you are I’ll come out after I’m done with a customer! Seriously he just went back to work. Assumed that since I paid for it I’d come back and wait for him again? Nice shop horrible service! Horrible employee. Cory is an arrogant man who should stay out of customer service

Corey is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with all strollers. I'm so impressed and had the best experience. What seemed very overwhelming turned into a fun and positive experience thanks to Twinkle Twinkle. Lifetime customer!

My husband and I stopped into to Twinkle Twinkle Little one to look at a stroller we were interested in. After looking around for a few minutes, a male sales associate approached us to offer some insight. I was rather disappointed with our conversation/interaction with him. He asked several (somewhat intrusive) questions about how many children we had/plan to have and how far apart in age we plan to have them. We told him that we were expecting our first child this summer, and he seemed put off and confused. After mentioning which stroller we were looking at, he was immediately discouraging of our choice and went on for several minutes as to why it wouldn't be a good selection. I don't believe he took a second to acknowledge or listen to our reasoning behind choosing this product we were interested in. I was expecting a much more positive, warm, and encouraging interaction with the staff there, and even more so upon them learning we are first time parents. Our conversation left us with an unfortunate impression. I think the same message could have easily been communicated with a much different approach. The store had very cute items, but was rather crowded with everything. I'd stop in to purchase a gift, but after that interaction I'd be skeptical to hear out staff's insight.

The owners a lot spent time going through car seats and strollers and really educated us on which ones fit best in our lifestyle. Really was a great experience for us, as we are first time parents.

My fiancé and I went in about a month ago and talked to the owners husband and he was very knowledgeable. He answered a lot of our questions and showed us how a lot of the strollers worked. However, he did not send us a follow up email on all the products we were interested in, like he promised. We also wanted to make an appt to view all the nursery furniture and rocking chairs. We planned on buying majority of our big purchases at this store, so we decided to go in and give it another try. That didn’t go so well either. There was one staff member who was unpacking newly shipped merchandise and seemed too busy to help us. When we did ask questions he apologized and said he didn’t know much because he was fairly new. Understandable. We mentioned our first visit and said we were expecting to hear back from the owners husband and he let us know that he would be in in a couple of days so we offered to leave our number so we could set up and appointment when he got back in the shop. We still haven’t heard back from anyone. Such a bummer, I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.

We went to the store and tried out multiple items in person, including strollers, car seats, etc. Corey was so great at explaining to us the pro and cons of each brand and model with so much patience! The shopping experience was amazing, we left with confidence that we made the right choices even though this was the first time we shop for baby items. Buying baby stuff is unlikely any other shopping, the hands on experience is so essential - we pretty much knew whether we like them or not the moment we put our hands on them. A few minutes with an item is better than watching 10 hours of YouTube reviews. On top of all this, it’s just great to support local businesses like this! The trust, relationship and service are hard to find these days. If you are looking for baby items such as strollers, car seats, clothes, etc, we highly recommend to give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

Shopping at small local places can sometimes feel intimidating, like there’s pressure to buy something, but that was not the case at this location. Even though they were busy due to early Black Friday sales, I was still helped in the furniture and stroller departments and didn’t feel rushed at all. They were especially helpful with the strollers. I came in thinking I wanted one thing but they listened to what I needed and recommended two other options that would likely be a better lifestyle fit and, as a plus, were actually cheaper options.I ended up buying a dresser and crib. I’m excited to take advantage of their delivery and setup service. I may be back for a stroller if I can decide on a brand.I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they were offering the same sales as the brand websites so it felt good knowing I was supporting local but also getting the best deal.

Went in today and my husband and I weren’t ever acknowledged by the staff - even after looking around for 15 minutes. The staff gave my husband and I the feeling of being very pretentious and that we weren’t worth their time. We decided to leave. What a shame, we were prepared to buy stuff!

Yes, you want to shop here! We not only had a great in-person experience, the staff also went above and beyond to help us with a last-minute emergency. In person, the staff were uniquely helpful. Micheal, who helped us choose a car seat, stroller, and adapter has been working in this industry for EIGHTEEN YEARS. He gave us a ton of information about resale value, new features, and what he generally sees work (and not work) for families in the city. Nothing online could have compared. But that's not the half of it. Our baby arrived about a week early and on our way to the hospital we realized our stroller, still in-box, had been stolen from our garage the NIGHT BEFORE. Again, the staff and owners were incredible. We had receipts for our insurance claim and a new stroller ordered within minutes of calling them. They insisted on personally delivering the stroller to my sister-in-law on their way back from the warehouse. When we realized we were missing an adapter they overnighted it to us. By the time we got home from the hospital it was like nothing had even happened.Even without all the additional support they provided us, shopping at Twinkle Twinkle Little One was such a pleasant and efficient way to make a decision on some big-ticket baby items. Can't wait to come back!

I was driving through Roscoe Village saw this children's store, which I've heard of but had never been to before, so I decided to stop in. I just planned to browse and see what the store was about, though I have been thinking lately that maybe I'd get a dress or two for my little one and if I saw something here that would be an added bonus. This store is very small and very very crowded. It actually surprised me a little since a fair percentage of the clientele will be pregnant women and multiple bellies might make it tricky navigating the packed store. They seemed to have quite a few strollers though I don't know how many brands (it may have just been Bugaboo and Uppababy but various models of each). I was pretty surprised and a little disappointed by how little clothing they had. It seemed like the vast majority of the merchandise was furniture, decorations, carseats, and so on. They did have some beautiful dresses but for much older children (I think the youngest I saw was 12 months), and they were pretty expensive--not to say I might not buy one for my little one because they really were quite lovely, but I'll wait until she's bigger and more likely to fit them. Staff seemed friendly enough. After wandering a few minutes one of the men who worked there asked if I was finding everything alright and when I checked out the woman who helped me was very warm. I will probably check their social media occasionally and might visit the Highland Park store at some point because that one might have a larger overall selection whilst this one may focus more heavily on decor and gear, most of which I have already. Parking is street only. I was able to find a parking spot with a fair bit of ease and both sides of the street offer free parking.

I wanted to gift a stroller and car seat for my sister and of all the stores in the Chicagaland area, Twinkle Twinkle Little One was the ONLY store that actually had almost all colors in stock, especially the one I wanted! The owner was SO helpful and communicated with me via phone and email in a very timely manner. The customer service was beyond my expectations--even the online web store is user-friendly! I hope to return in person one day!

Lovely shop with very nice things. Unfortunately I had a poor experience here. My partner and I were in the neighborhood for the burger festival and decided to stop in for ourselves and our expecting niece. My partner LOVES shopping locally and supporting small businesses, so it was an easy call to explore. I was followed the entire time we were there by the older woman clerk, who consistently found something to tidy within view and earshot of me. To clarify, my partner took photos to remember items, but stopped when requested; I was exploring on my own in another part of the store. This clerk also "brushed" against me passing through and looked in my tote bag the moment we walked into the store. I called her out on it and of course she denied, but it was pretty clear she was profiling (I tested her by walking to a random spot and she immediately followed, tidying clothing and asking if I needed help, after she already asked us moments earlier). It was upsetting at best. We can take our $$ elsewhere.
