I made a reservation for truck and appliance dolly, utility dolly and furniture dolly. They only had the utility dolly. The location is hard to find because there's no signs and it's a big place to get lost in.

If I could give them less than1 - I would. The first issue is trying to find the place. No signage whatsoever on the front or side of the building. Even the office where the self-important woman who works the weekends sits had only a miniature sign on the window that said Truck Rental, not visible from the street. 2nd issue, when I called to get directions, the woman on the phone was rude and wasn't at all helpful. Kept telling me to to look for the Sears Tower, unfortunately it was cloudy that day. I eventually found the entrance after 5 minutes of looking and once inside, no one else was there, the woman (same one from the phone) didn't even bother to get up to greet me. She was rude and unpleasant. The truck was located a short walk away and even when asking her instructions it seemed like a big inconvenience for her to look away for her computer. She was downright brusque and impertinent. I was able to get the keys and the rental was fine, except that they try to trick you by not having the gas filled all the way, to which you have to add more than you used to get it to the right spot in between 3/4 and full. They should just have you top it off, not the way they have it, seems shady When I returned the truck, once again was greeted with an attitude (from the same unpleasant woman) when I asked how much the charge would be. And although, once again, there was no one else in the office, she claimed she was too busy to do the check in right now. I left and did get my charge confirmation a few hours later via email. Overall, I would NEVER recommend this location because of the woman who showed so little concern for customers and made it feel like a privilege to speak with her. I have used other U-Haul rental locations but never one like this. I advise you to avoid this location like the plague as the woman who works there couldn't be more rude and inconsiderate. Hope this helps someone avoid an unpleasant experience.

Trucks for any size moving job caravans and small Van's 19.99 a day plus .99 a miles. Larger trucks slightly higher plus1.49 a miles plus you have to make sure the gas needle is left at the same point it was when you got it. You must have a credit card and up to date drivers license ..

Save yourself the hassle and go to the South Loop location. I was greeted by a seemingly helpful, but in reality, unfriendly individual that took me into an “auto body” and prompted me to dial a number. The call was not answered, so I followed the prompts on the app, got the keys and drove over to the street to get the van, only to find that it was snowed in by a 4x4’ wall of ice. Luckily, a van was available at a nearby location.

5/8/20. The employee I spoke to on the phone when I made the reservations took my debit card to hold the van. When I go to the location to pick up the van he informs me that they do not accept cash at no time before that was I informed by him or anyone else that they do not accept cash. I had $13.00 on my card & cash to pay for the van if it had not been for my driver (My Pastor). I would have been in trouble also he tried to put the blame on me that I should have known already that they do not accept cash, but he did let me use a dolly free of charge. Ok Customer Service.

The van/equipment was great. People who I spoke with were terribly rude. As long as you go here and don't speak with anyone, you should be okay!

I made an online reservation. A lady by the name of Andrea called to inform me that I'd have to go to a different location as the one I made my reservation with was unable to accommodate it. I found the same was true for the new location, plus now somehow my reservation changed from what I originally booked, after I arrived. The team member offered me $15 for the inconvience. When I arrived at the final location, the lady on the phone told me she'd call me back in $10 with a code to apply for all the hassle. We waited with no call back, the lady in the office told me to let the office know were I drop it off at, they would take care of me and that I could finally get on the road after 1.5 hours from my original reservation time. She also charged me for 40 miles and 24 hours when I only needed 3 hours and 15 miles. When I dropped the uhaul off the location told me to call the lady on the phone who was sending me to all these locations as they can't help me either. When I called she was no longer there and the gentleman told me he couldn't help me either. So I follow up today, get transferred to 3 different ladies, one of whom had to set me straight on the how's of uhaul operations. When I asked for a recording she transferred me to corporate. Still on hold as I am writing this review..... 43 mins and no one can help me. No one knows what's going on. This sounds like Worst uhaul experience of my life. This location was one of the locations I was sent to that told me they couldn't help me. Since no one from uhaul can help me, I will be leaving this review st every location I had to go to.
