Rude customer "service". The U-haul on 71st off of Jeffery is a much better place to do business but they didn't have any trucks available.

We were severely overcharged. The "insurance" cost me more to than the rental and I was never told about it. I spoke to the man working there 4 times and insurance was never mentioned. The charge came as a surprise and I was not amused. I called to see why I was charged nearly double ($19 for the truck, $3.xx for driving nearly 5 miles total and $26.xx for insurance) and was told that we didn't replace the 5-miles-worth of gas. She then later blamed it on insurance.I've used U-Haul many times over the years. Customarily, they put a hold on your account of your estimated mileage, plus rental fee. Upon turning the vehicle in, your account is refunded the difference or charged for the miles any extra miles driven. The most I've ever hear of for insurance was nominal (like $4) and was optional.This is one U-Haul location that has lost any future business of mine and I will surely warn my people to stay away from these friendly, neighborhood pimps-with-vans-for-rent. (Should be named "AfterUHaul WeHumpU".)

Worse experience ever got the van no problem and returned the same day the next day got a call saying that I never returned the van. Of course this sent me in to panic and the staff was extremely rude, hung up on me several times when trying to resolve the issue after they called me 8 times at work. I will never rent from this location again Joseph is a terrible person to work with and should not be incharge of resolving issues they are disorganized and rude
