I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this UPS location. On 08/26/2025, I went in to ship very important documents to my family abroad. The store quoted me over $200 to guarantee delivery by 08/29/2025 at 12 PM.
Tracking shows the package arrived in Louisville, KY at 12:53 AM on 08/27/2025—meaning UPS had two full days (08/27 and 08/28) to process it through customs and still meet their delivery guarantee. Yet as of 09/03/2025 at 5 PM, the package is still sitting in Louisville with no movement.
I have called the customer service 800 number as well as the store directly multiple times, and no one has provided me with any assistance to get this package moving. For the cost I paid and the importance of these documents, this level of service is completely unacceptable.
UPS has failed to deliver what was promised, and the lack of accountability is beyond frustrating.
Update as of 09/03/2025 @ 6:23 PM:
I called the store today and spoke with Manager Brittany, who agreed the delay was unusual and told me she would call UPS International Shipping to investigate. She promised me a call back by end of day and said she would be in the store until 6:30 PM. At 6:20 PM, I called for an update, only to find out she had already left at 6:15 PM—without contacting me at all.
I then asked to speak with the store owner and left my number for a call back. The employee I spoke with gave me attitude, arguing that they “are not UPS,” despite having the UPS name, branding, uniforms, and logos everywhere. He insisted they were just a franchise and had “nothing to do with UPS,” which is both laughable and appalling.
This store is full of staff with poor attitudes, zero accountability, and no sense of ownership for the brand they represent. At this point, I will not be using this store—or UPS as a whole—ever again.

This UPS store is the best. I have wanted to write a review the last few times working with another man (I’m guessing it was Brian or Brandon, based on other reviews, sorry), but I had such exceptional service from Cadairro this time, I made a point. I was that customer you want to kill. I needed a lot of help and Cadairro was so accommodating. He helped other customers as best he could while we sorted out my mess. It was 100% above and beyond. It’s so easy to write when things go wrong and I’m sure that a store this busy has things that don’t always go the way we’d like (a little grace, please, people!), but such willingness to help is a rarity and makes this my shipping store of choice. Thank you!

The man at the store this am had an absolutely nasty disposition I have experienced in my 50 years. He has a very uncomfortably unwelcoming attitude, he acted like I disgusted him. Sat morning, July 12 at 11:45, there were 2 men working. He was the black man with the short dreads and headband. His name is CADAIRRO I literally left shaking bc of his diabolical energy and attitude. Please train your staff. His energy was horrible and I had to bite my tongue. I would even take this further if I had time

Great service. Was greeted when I came in the store. The young African American man has helped me before and he knows how to process my packages with no mistakes. This Clark Street location is very busy and the employees still are friendly and reliable. I thank him for his help!!!!

The service here is absolutely amazing! Brittany, Brandon, Cardairro, and the rest of the staff go above and beyond every time. They’re friendly, helpful, and truly best in class. I’m really grateful for all the support I receive whenever I come in. This is by far the best UPS Store in Chicago…thank you all!

My husband and I are big fans of this particular UPS store. We have been renting a box for years and have come to know the helpful staff very well. Cheers to Brittany, Brian, Cadairro and Brandon! Always a pleasure to deal with you all.

This location was a complete mess. I went in to return two items — same product, just different sizes — each with its own QR code. The employee assisting me said, “It’s the same thing with the same tracking number so the other QR code isn’t necessary”. He was dismissive and rude from the beginning, but I trusted what he said.
A few hours later, I received confirmation that only one return had been processed, while the other was still marked as pending. I called the store, and the same employee answered. He was just as rude over the phone and completely unconcerned about the mistake he had made.
When I asked to speak with the manager, things somehow got worse. The employee giving the phone to the manager was awful. She told me they didn’t scan the second QR code because they assumed it wasn’t necessary for the same item. When I suggested that she train her staff to be more respectful and attentive, she abruptly hung up the call.
This was my first and definitely last time visiting this location. I regret not going to my usual store, where I’ve never had issues like this.

This is the greatest UPS store I have ever been to! I have a PO Box and I have had nothing but positive experiences! They have really made getting mail delivered in the city so easy. The employees are all FANTASTIC! Brian, Brittany, Cadairro and all the other employees always have my packages ready when they see me walking in, makes it so quick and easy! Would 10/10 recommend this place for a great experience!

I’m at this UPS Store pretty often to pick up packages, and every time I’m met with friendly faces and helpful service. Everyone here is kind, quick, and always makes the experience easy. Cadairro, Brian, Brit, and Brandon — you all are the best! It really means a lot to feel recognized and taken care of. Thanks for making my day, again and again!

I absolutely love this UPS store! I go there often for returns and every single time has been a fantastic experience. I've had horrible experiences from other UPS stores but never here this one is my all time favorite! They are super friendly, patient, and fast! My whole life I haven't come across such a welcoming environment. I would like the give my warmest thanks to Cadairro who is fabulous stylish, Oscar cool and nice, and of course Brian(they're all great but he's the greatest to me because he's helped me personally the most. He's quick and efficient they all are! They make returns a breeze & a delight thank you so much for all your hard work and efforts most of all your kindness I appreciate these awesome people very much! ☺️✨

My son’s package arrived today at your store at 10:19am , the last four digits of the tracking number is 3634. It was a very large square box coming from Colorado… He was supposed to get a phone call and no one ever called him to come in and pick it up.?

Unless you have a simple Amazon, save yourself the headache and go to literally any other UPS store. I’m pretty sure these people take pride in making your life harder. If you need actual shipping help, go a mile north to the UPS on the 3700 block of Broadway. Don’t expect a good experience from this store.
