While everyone there is very nice, service is sometimes very slow. They're also very often out of very basic cash items like quarters. Even buying 2 rolls of quarters usually requires them to cobble together rolls from other teller's drawers. Using the ATM is impossible after hours because they lock the door, even though it is in a separate area than the rest of the bank, and it is frequently out of order, creating back up inside to what is already pretty slow service. And US Bank overall has pretty bad hours.

I doubled checked with the lady before withdrawing and canceling the bank account. She missed to tell me about the cost of wire transfer and results in making me pay for the overdraft fee. Feel so frustrated that I have to deal with this mess while traveling internationally.

Don't bother coming here after business hours, card reader on door doesn't work and you cannot get in to use the atm

I was here today to try and get a bond cashed and wow y'all are rude for no reason. I enter and a gentlemen says 'I can help you over here' I step up tell him why I'm there and he says I'm going to move you to Reese and she will take care of this. I walk to her and she seems unprepared on how to cash a bond and she starts scrambling. I start saying "ah glad I can finally cash this my bank won't let me." Then she states "what bank do you bank with not us?" I said "no I bank with--" and before I could finish she interrupted and said "oh well you can cash this here if you don't have an account." I then said "well what should I do and where can I cash this?" The lady behind her then backed Reese up and said "if you don't have an account we can't cash it." I then said "well my parents have an account can I cash it." She said "if they come in they can." I said "well you guys already told them that they couldn't since the bond has my name on it." So I asked again "what should I do?" The man that helped me the first time said "try treasury.org" from across the room. Then I said to Reese again "okay but do you have any idea where I could cash this then?" They then just kept yelling they can't cash it they can't cash it. I understand that but I want to know in a town of three million people where I can cash it. They seemed like they wanted me to leave so they didn't have to deal with my questions anymore. And she kept staring at her computer screen trying to get me to leave and then the lady behind her Doesn't even turn around and points and says "there is a currency exchange down the road two blocks that will do it." So I left frustrated. Why couldn't they help me or just explain further why they couldn't cash it for me. Listen I work in customer service too but I was being absolutely polite and I was just faced with argumentative behavior. This is unacceptable for how a place should be run. You people need to get a grip and understand that people just want answers and y'all are getting mad at customers for asking for help. I understand policies and the law but was I ever explained why they couldn't cash it once? No. Was I given any help on where I could cash it no. By the way there was no currency exchange two blocks down. I understand shitty customers but I was not one of them and you guys are just shitty customer service people. US bank should shut this branch down or get new management. You are in the heart of Chicago and this is what you are going to show. Ha pathetic.

Although sometimes the service is slow, their tellers are really nice people. Ideally they should have two more tellers working on busy days like Fridays. I use this branch only once in a while when I need to use the change counting machine. These days, most branches don't have one. This branch services many customers as it is conveniently located in the loop.

Horrible customer service by Janet B. She kept telling the lady who she was servicing that she needed her ID.(which she never had) Instead of making her move so others could continue their day she kept talking to her. 20 minutes later I finally said to the lady who wasted everyone's time "all that for nothing hu?" Then Janet (the bank teller) snapped and yelled at me refusing to take me. I was kicked out for complaining to someone about them wasting my and everyone else's time. Janet made it her problem even tho I wasn't talking to her. If Janet can't handle unhappy customers then she shouldn't be in the customer service industry. No one should be refused service after being frustrated at how long things take, that's inhumane. I shouldn't have to do her job for her. Talk about botched service. All I want is an apology which i've asked for. Leaving this up until I get one.
