“Store owner was great! I picked up an antique spoon and silver fork— not without getting a sticker of course. 1 thing to note with credit card must spend at least 10$Thanks Andy!”

“I've been going here for years. Richard is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. His selection is vast, and every time I come in, I find something new. I would highly recommend making a trip just for Richard's if you are looking for any vintage menswear.”

“This is just the loveliest of stores! The owner is spectacular and provides the best shopping experience for guests. I wish every store was like this one!

Shop here for gifts for kids and friends. All gift items are brand new and the clothes are sold on consignment. I saw many brand new items and the prices were incredibly reasonable. They have a little bit of everything for your family.

They also offer gift wrapping and shipping.

A true gem of the neighborhood!”

“The employee was very kind and right away asked what I was looking for and showed me around. This place is very organized and clean and has a wide range of decor and furniture! Truly special pieces that have been curated - not a junk/ thrift store”

“I cannot sing praises high enough for this adorable hidden gem of a shop! The largest [and most well organized] supply of costume jewelry I've ever seen. The cutest and kitschiest [in the best way] purses and and handbags. A diverse and well-curated collection of vintage clothing pieces and accessories for all seasons and occasions - and very reasonably priced! One of a few places where you can find people shopping for prom, the Kentucky derby, renaissance fairs, theatre costumes, and bridal parties all at once. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

I'm from out of state, and find myself rearranging road trips just to make an excuse to come back. Even if you never buy anything, stopping in to just look and admire at your leisure is well worth it.”

“Very lovely store. Lots of unique pieces. Very expensive and far out of my budget but nice to peruse. This is more of a collectors warehouse for those with a good amount of money to drop. If I could afford it I’d buy something for sure.”

“Great place to dump your trash toys . They may even give you a few bucks for them if you are lucky ? . Cool independently owned vintage store aka not so small businesses . So many amazing things and memories all in one place . Bigger then it looks from outside. Make sure to look everywhere .”

“Emilia is absolutely ? fantastic!!! I came to her in hopes to find a luxe designer buyer in Chicago. I read the reviews and was confident she could help me sell. I sold an exquisite CHANEL le Boy purse and got a great fair price for it. Unfortunately, I've been buying all my stuff from apps that claim their luxe items are amazing. Only to find when the package arrives I receive less than par quality items. I am so happy I found Mr. & Mrs. Digz. Not only do they give you top dollar for your pristine condition luxe items, they are available for you to shop confidently on what you buy from them. It's not your typical consignment shop. Emilia, thank you, thank you, I have found a true stellar shop. And, you my friend are aces with your amazing customer service!!! I will forever appreciate our deal today. And, look forward to selling and buying from you with confidence. 100 stars ? for you and your shop.”

“Super cute shop in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square. I’ve purchased a few items including a vintage refurbished desk and their super warm washable wool blankets.I’m giving it 4 stars because they’ve started selling more “new” furniture and less vintage or refurbished furniture - which isn’t my thing. The staff have always been super helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products, so if you have questions they will definitely have answers.Make sure to check out this local shop, I’m sure you’ll find something you enjoy.”

“Bar none the best women's vintage shop in Chicago. Interested in 1930s and 40s stuff and was immediately able to find so many dresses that I had to be selective. Usually I'm lucky to find one item. Here they are just out and about.”

“My sister and i grew up in that neighborhood and the owners never batted an eye at us spending lots of time sitting on the floor reading Archie comics. And also the vintage items. Years later i brought my niece who also delighted at the clothes and history and delightful pieces. Love Shangri-La. Thank you to the owners!”

“Charming little vintage store across from the Jumping Bean. Friendly staff there to help with whatever you’re looking for, the sweet person at the register was quite patient while I carefully looked through their shelved rings.
Only knocking a star because of pricing, there was a small mix up with items from a set price bin and there are other reviews stating the same. No biggie though, everything else was great!??”

“It was my distinct pleasure to shop there today. I ran out of my house today so my housekeeper could work without me underfoot. I am so frustrated with myself. I pass by almost daily but finally went in person. I did not know the person helping me was the owner's wife. She was so gracious and welcoming that it took me by surprise that she's the owner. I purchased two pair of pants and three pairs of boots. I do not think any of these items were worn. If they were worn, it was very minimal. None of the boots showed wear on the tread or creases across the toes. They had the biggest luxury brands in the industry. But, what did it for me, is the owner's wife. I looked like a homeless person and she treated me with respect and kindness. She even went so far as to tell me who her hairstylist's information. She is his best advertisement because her hair is a ten!! My partner loves them because of their boxer. I am fairly certain, if they put that doggie in the window, we would be the first in line but I can tell they're good pet parents so I'll just get to enjoy watching them walk their show worthy boxer. I know this is a TLDR kind of post but they're worth every accolade and then some. Because I was so impressed, I'll be going to their other location tomorrow or next week. Thank you Eliot's for being gracious hosts to your clients and being so particular about what you accept in your shop!!! David and Samantha (Sam)”

“Great collection of vintage pottery glassware prints lamps and various eclectic decorating options . Prices are extremely reasonable. If this store was on Armitage Ave I’m guessing the prices would be 50% higher.”

“Super cute store. Very impressed with the vintage items and jewelry. I got the cutest Rhinestone blingy earrings. They instantly caught my eye. They had some really unique fur jackets and trench coats. The boutique is a good spot to pickup a one of a kind item. I enjoyed browsing the store. The owner was really nice and the store wasn't overcrowded. That is always a plus. I will be back as I wanna grab the this roller perfume and maybe even grab some earrings that I left.”
