Update your hours if you’re going to keep closing hours early. Just walked in 100 degree heat to drop off a package that needed to go out today just for them to be closed during their open hours.

Something is wrong with this USPS location. They close at 3pm on Saturday, yet when I arrived at 2:15pm, the place was closed and locked. Several people showed up behind me also trying to get in. I’m going to try the Uptown location and see if they’re operational.

some of the worst customer service i’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. the employee i dealt with for my passport lied straight to my face on multiple instances about appointment times and they cancelled one of my appointments without even calling me. go to the location on north broadway if you actually want competent service

Gave me an appointment for 2 PM. I get there at 1:30 and they told me I need to reschedule because the clerk is gone. They suggest make an appointment from 10 AM to 1 PM but why would you give me a 2 o’clock appointment wasted a day of work, calling off for my passport, application waste of time and money.

Very disappointed with USPS service. I mailed a time-sensitive Power of Attorney document using Priority Mail Express from California to Chicago on July 31, 2025, with guaranteed delivery by August 2. It’s now August 6 and still no delivery. The package is stuck in the processing unit and no one can give a clear update.
When I went to the post office in person, only one employee was working while three other counters were empty, and the line was long. The person helping us didn’t even know how to track the parcel or provide any helpful information. I paid over $100 for this “priority” service, and it completely failed.
Because of this delay, I missed the chance to send the document with someone who was traveling overseas. Now I have to remake the Power of Attorney, send it internationally myself, and pay all over again while USPS refuses to issue a refund.
What’s the point of priority service if it doesn’t deliver on time, doesn’t update tracking, and doesn’t provide customer support? This was a total loss of time and money.

We drove 25 minutes to get here and they had closed half an hour early. No sign on the door - the doors were locked and the staff had all left.

I’m so fed up with this location. Today me and a handful of other cars showed up, the time is 6:10 PM as I write this. We can all see the postal worker sitting at her desk. However the doors are locked. This location closes at 7. It doesn’t make any sense. Everyone is driving up, trying to get inside, frustrated, and leaving. This location truly needs all new staff.

The front desk lady with the lazy eye was unwilling to help me. She was extremely unhelpful when I asked her if I could purchase two stamps. She denied my request and started convincing me to buy an entire stamp book even though I told her it would be of no use to me since I usually do not send out letters! Pathetic service, had to go elsewhere.

Worst post office ever! Consistently incompetent. Misinformation constantly from stamps and shipping needed for cards/invites, to passport services scheduled 2 appts call an hour before telling me they have, no money orders (took off work twice to take our child and had to get a notary since my husband couldn’t take off again), they close randomly on Friday’s and holidays with no note on the door (this has happened at least 13 times in 2 years). Lazy and entitled employees. The WORST!!!!!
