I had a really upsetting experience at this USPS location. I asked one of the employees to help me find the right envelope, and the employee not only gave vague instructions, but when I was confused, she was extremely condescending and rude. I noticed she was treating almost all customers like an inconvenience and she was downright nasty. It’s unfortunate that people like her feel so miserable and hate their job so much that they think they can treat others so poorly.

This is the worst USPS I’ve been to. They have one person working the desk at peak hours. A worker stepped away for a one hour lunch when the line was going out the door. They work slowly with no sense of urgency. I waited one hour to mail a return on a Friday afternoon and they couldn’t provide a return receipt citing that “the bar code won’t scan.” The reason I waited an hour was for the return receipt…otherwise I could’ve just dropped it off without a wait. It’s an issue on their end because they couldn’t scan another woman’s bar code either. Horrible. Avoid.

Outrageously slow.... my goodness! It's almost like they're doing it in purpose. The absolute worst

Stuff gets lost here all the time. My packages too. The mail comes, but the checks? Gone. Someone's gotta go.

There’s a black old man working at that post office for many years. He is a racist! I’m an Asian. For the past 3 years when I approached his counter he rolled his eyes and behaves very rude. If I asked more than 2 questions, he refused to answer and just repeated “No” and asked me to go away, without letting me say anything. When I bring the same question or request to the other counter, the other counter happily addressed my issue almost all the time.

Cashier playing video games, I asked a question and gave me a quick answer without explanation, I was waiting for him to react but he was too comfortable in his phone

Waiting in line for 30 mins to get my mail on hold and the clerk could not help me since she was the only one working and was against some rule to leave her desk. There were 2 other staff roaming around and neglected to help a long line that was there. Terrible service. Try to avoid this post office at all cost.

RUDE, LOST MAIL, UNHELPFUL. It would be better for you to drive/fly your package out yourself. I always ship via USPS for my small business & this was the only time I tried this location and I will never be back. The first time I went there they made me strip off every single piece of tape I had on my 32lb package (It was black SHIPPING tape & I have always shipped with it no prior issues). It was securely stuck to the cardboard because it was peeling back box layers as I took it off. They made me tape over with flimsy white tape. Fast forward 7 business days later and my priority mail 2-day shipping package has still yet to leave chicago. I filed a claim online, spoke with several people over the phone who told me that the best way to find the package is to go to this post office and speak to them in person. I went in & asked where my package was and provided the receipt and tracking number. He said it’s in chicago somewhere and they just “aren’t scanning it”. He couldn’t provide me with any eta of delivery or any location or reason why the package was taking quadruple the time expected. I asked what my next steps are and if I could receive a shipping refund and he said “no it’s only been 8 days” I said okay but I paid extra for 2-day shipping he said “no you did NOT pay for 2-day shipping. You paid for 2-day expected shipping” That was completely unhelpful and a total waste of time. I am at a loss. I have no clue what to do or how to file a claim because he was rude and did not provide me with any information regarding my package nor advice on next steps to take. The only thing he said was well it’s 30lbs (priority mail weight limit is 70lbs) so it’s taking longer because it’s heavy which does not make sense what so ever. I would never recommend this post office. They have extremely long lines, no self kiosk, and incredibly rude customer service. They do not care if your package is lost and have no desire to help track it down or find out how it happened.

Came in on a Monday around 5:30 pm before closing. Not a long line. I was just dropping off some packages. The lady at the desk was friendly and I was in and out in 10 minutes.

I got here at 545pm on Wednesday and they were closed. Update this Google page because it says 6pm. Don’t waste people’s time.

Close door before the time. How the person is still hired. Never seen such a stupid USPS.
