Their is suspicious lost mail coming from IDPH with Snap card mailed out to 88 yrs old mother that has been sent 2x and both times is missing. I hope the supervisor of this office begins an investigation into this matter as this is a federal felony. Whether the staff is trashing it out or stealing it - still is a federal crime. Should we call Trump to investigate this?

It’s not perfect but the people here try much harder than other post offices. There is actually a sense of customer service, no temper, no attitude. I can’t blame them for the failings of an underfunded system. If you want a real taste of hell try going two miles east to the post office on Grace. The abuse will burn your face. You will go running back to Cicero.

I was skeptical on coming here based on the old reviews, but I’m glad i went.
I spent less than 3 min in line, quiet and clean.
Lisa was extremely helpful and super sweet with every person she dealt with.
How refreshing to have a sweet post person.
I’ve had horrible experiences with mail people in the past, but this was so awesome to see and experience myself.
Looking forward to see lisa again in the future!

Patrick, the supervisor here, called me when I filed a query about some missing mail. He apologized and also explained the reasons why things are sometimes delayed and how to better guage when I might receive certain mail pieces. I SO appreciated the contact. I felt very seen, and I appreciated knowing my concerns were heard. That is excellent customer service

I went on August 8th and Lisa(hopefully I am spelling correct) is AMAZING! she help us through the whole process. It was our first time ever sending and package and she explained everything and helped us decide on the different options we had. She was very kind and caring to every person in that building yet was so quick and accurate. Thank you Lisa for all the hard work you do!

Me and my husband have a Po Box at this location we go to get our packages and there never in the Po Box the employees here act like it belongs to them and always say it not there so paying for service were not getting.

I was there for my toddler's passport - don't be a fool like me and thought you can just go there with no reservations and wait on the line, nope! Call them to schedule a time, plan to wait on a line for at least 20 min as they are short of staff most of the time. For passport documents - THEY DON'T HAVE PRINTER lol or at least they say so, I know...so when they say they need a copy of both IDs of the parents you need to provide them all that, plus her birth certificate( they will return that in a mail later) and other stuff ( money order, plus fee for the service). If by any chance you forgot to make any copy of a paperwork they need you can run to the bank nearby (community I believe was the bank) and there they have printer that works with coints, you can run to Walgreens to exchange for coints. How do I know all that...experience that I am not proud of lol. The lady who took our documents was nice.
Seems like they need to hire one more person to take half the load

They keep losing my packages. I drop them off in the package box and they dissappear. 3 times now.

This location is so disrespectful. Every time when I come here there is the line. There is most likely one employee on the front desk to take care of people and bunch of unnecessary employees in the back of office laughing and talking at loud AT WORK and do nothing !
So disrespectful !

They are just horrible. They constantly lose my packages and lie about having delivered packages. They say there’s nothing they can do. I’m losing time and money. I hate this place. I wish every one of them nothing but suffering.

Lost my package i was selling on ebay, it got scanned there and never scanned again lost 300$ and they could've cared less, barely looked for it and never did any investigation because it had to stole because it was an electricronic device the only call I received was to say they're not responsible and have a good day... Now I only use Fedex or UPS... plus their staff is much nicer because dealing with them is like being a the Secretary of State the way your treated....

Horrible experience via telephone and in-person. Unprofessional staff that lacks the ability to communicate. Lost two packages of business property after having to reorder and instead of being supported and assisted, I was argued with after dialing back, because I sat on hold for 28 minutes with no insight or communication. Do better, USPS.

Open hours says at 8am on a Wednesday. I got there and only o e person was working in passport. They always short of staff and when there is people working they just past by and look at you instead of asking you if you need anything because it looks like if they are not doing anything. I don’t know if they don’t like their job or what.
