We have been taking our dog to VIP for years. While Bill is great the owner is horrible. She hates dogs that bark at alll! So it got to the point I would only schedule when Bill was there due to the fact he always seemed to care about my dog. This last Tuesday, I took my little guy to get groomed and he came home hurt. We didn't notice right away.... But further investigation revealed a scrape that was bleeding by his stomach area. Large in size approximately 2 inches consistant with the shape of clippers. Bill never said anything which leads me to two conclusions. Either he didn't notice which means he shouldn't be doing this job anymore or he hid it from us. Very disappointed and I will no longer be taking my pet there.

We have two Persian/Ragdoll cats who we get groomed with a “lion cut” 3-4 times a year. First, not many groomers even offer cat grooming and lion cuts. VIP is so great with them, they are quick and make the process very easy. One of my cats is on anxiety medication and even he has no problem with getting groomed at VIP. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a place to get our chihuahua, Max, groomed for the first time. After some research and good reviews we decided to go with VIP Grooming Services. We are always looking to support small businesses, especially in our neighborhood. My boyfriend took him for his appointment and unfortunately was not greeted with a warm welcome. Infact, wasn't greeted at all; there was no one there when they walked in. After saying hello and stating they had an appointment, the owner came out said "hi" (seeming bothered) and asked if Max had ever been groomed before. My boyfriend responded no. She said she wasn't told that before and he replied you didn't ask. He then said it seems like this is going to be a problem. She said yes it could be a problem because we use a dryer. He responded ok I figured as much, and she responded with I dont even know how old he is. Side note: she asked how old he was on the phone at the time the appointment was made. After feeling like she had no interest in grooming our dog he said if its going to be a problem let's forget it. She said yes let's forget it. An unfriendly environment is definitely not a place we feel comfortable leaving our pet. My boyfriend took our Maxi and left. When they arrived home I called and spoke with the owner. From the beginning of the conversation she was not the nicest, and I was surprised to find out she was the owner. On the phone she stated my boyfriend had told her our dog had been groomed before, which contradicts the brief interaction they had in the store. Her tone was more aggrivated and defensive vs understanding and empathetic. We do understand since it is his first time a groomer may be reluctant and have questions to ensure the best experience for our dog. Even if at the end of the day we collectively decided it wasnt a good idea we would have understood. If the right customer service was provided, despite the outcome, our experience and review on the business would have been totally different. In any business the client experience is the most important. Asking the right questions in the right way will allow the business to discover the best fit and options for the client. Kindness goes a long way.

I love this place. He nicknamed my little fat dog "football" and they are so appreciative and do excellent work. I feel like they are family over here! A+ and highly recommend !!

I absolutely love this place. It's often hard to find a good cat groomer who doesn't send your cats back to you completely traumatized. And while my cat's are not difficult, they're still cats and prefer to not get wet. Every time I come here my cats come home clean and in great spirits. My mom brings her cat here as well and she says the exact same things. Not sure what they're doing to the cats, but whatever it is keep it up!

Horrible experience, horrible customer service, animal abuse. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE.

I can’t believe they’re in business. This is animal abuse. My friend brought her dog there 2 days ago and the dog came home and couldn’t hold her neck up. When my friend called and asked what happened they laughed and said “oh we chain them .” I’m sorry, if your profession, this is never done to an animal. I hope the many complaints filed by us to the ASPCA and BBB are responded to immediately . This is horrifying. Anyone who continues to go should insist on staying to watch how their animal is treated. Shame on them .

Seems more of a dog place. Other reviewers mentioned taking their cats here, but they were not very accommodating for me. The man said they do hundreds of dogs and only a few cats. "Our services include both dog and cat grooming, deshedding, deodorizing, and teeth brushing." They do not provide these services for cats. Perhaps they should change their website.
