I gave 2 stars because the staff was friendly. I was told by 611 to go into the store to accept ownership of my number. I came in with a police report needing help to separate myself from a contract after domestic violence. I had to explain my situation in front of 12 people present in the store, with no privacy. I was so embarrassed. They put me on the phone in the middle of the store to explain my situation 4 more times to uneducated customer service reps. I finally got a rep who had to leave me on hold for 30 min while she educated herself. After an hour, I got a text message to complete the process. Verizon, you have to do better. DV is already hard enough, and your process further traumatized and embarrassed me in front of staff and customers. 611 and store staff should be well versed on sensitive legal matters. The middle of the store felt like a stage. 😔

Just a huge waste of time. You wait for 40 min just to speak with the receptionist, that then doesn’t even do anything to help you. Tried returning a phone that customer service authorized, but they rep refused to take.

Worst customer service. In September 2024, I upgraded 2 phones. I went the same day to trade in my old phones. The guy at the store said he could only take one phone the other I had to mail in. I asked for a form he gave me a -800 number because he couldnt help me. I called, was on the phone for 45 min for a mail in form. Never received. I called again they apologized and said it will take 2-5 for them to mail another form. Never received. It is 12/28/24. I spoke to someone else and said I had to go to the store and return the phone. If they deny it I had to call customer service and speak to them directly. A complete waste of time.

Wild how unhelpful this staff is. I had a simple request to activate a new sim - the manager put me on the phone with someone who had no idea how to handle the issue. I was waiting for 1.5hr on hold - even ran back to the Apple Store to get my old sim card, which I didn’t even need. There were tons of employees there just standing around. Finally they were closing and one of them took my phone and was able to activate it in minutes. Truly terrible experience.

No front desk person or employee out to check in with guests, sometimes they randomly pop out. Guests coming in are left confused in the store. Long queue time while employees are just hanging around the store not assisting customers.

Worst Verizon store in the area. Customer Service is horrible and store manager interjects in the middle of conversations with unprompted irrelevant advice that does not apply to the situation at hand. Service was more efficient when he was removed from the conversation.
Best thing you can do is work with Verizon online, apple, or literally any other resource besides this location.

It is the absolutely worst place to get a new phone or trade in for a new phone. Just go to apple across the street. Customer service was very unprofessional and condescending.

Verizon iPhones were supposed to be delivered to my house. They were marked delivered with no photo/signature proof. I called UPS/verizon and they put in an order at the store, assuming those phones were stolen. The order at the store was then canceled. Another phone call, I was sent to the Apple Store to get phones, told they will know I was coming. Apple had no idea- walked to Verizon and waited in store for 2 hours, finally left with the iPhone 16s. I then spent 5 hours over the next 5 days on the phone because the new phone could not be activated and was stuck in SOS mode. Finally the phone gets activated, turns out the mistake occurred at the initial order placement when the insurance on the phone was declined but I had previously opted in years ago—so two conflicting codes were in the system preventing activation. They offered me a $35 dollar credit for the 7+ hours of headache, which is straight up insulting. If I wasn’t at the absolute max capacity I have to deal with phone issues, I would leave Verizon. So horrible.

Terrible customer service. They actively withhold information, sign you up for things you didn’t sign up for, then tell you lies. First I was told if I purchase a certain screen protector it would be replaced for $10 any time it cracked. I purchased this screen protector and when it cracked I went in to get it replaced, then they said I need to sign up for an account online and it is shipped to me. The shipping was $10 so I figured maybe I heard it wrong. They said come in and we will put it on for you. When it arrived I went into the store and when I walked in they looked at me like I was an idiot and said wait here for the manager. When the manager came out he said if we put it on its $30. I asked how long it took and they said 1-2 minutes. I said, so $1000 an hour for screen protectors? This was two trips I made to their store that I didn’t need to make, on top of the day that verizon service just didn’t work mysteriously, which I still had to pay for. Since visiting this store it has just been a nightmare of lies and deception. I’ve not had a problem with verizon since I signed up, but I never did business with them outside of my service plan. I recommend going elsewhere for anything not service related.

Worse Verizon ever never been in a phone store so long. Literally have a manager that lets employee drown in employees while he stands around looking at his phone and staring out the window

The worst customer service. They will tell you anything fake just to make sure you get a line with them. And then, when you go to get help, after you got the service, they will just ask you to call customer service on the phone, they basically just there to sell… and lie…
