Manager having a bad interaction with client and making it the problem of everyone else in the store. Huge attitude problem, disrespecting the client he is speaking with in the middle of the room, and angrily addressing other shoppers in the store.
Dude needs customer service training, it’s painful to sit here and listen to him talk to customers like this knowing I am next.

Raquel did not provide any form of help she was not addressing my concerns about my bills and seemed like she didn’t care I was talking with the technician on the phone for an hour at the store and yes she was no help

I came here to drop in a phone trade-in for my boss after being on phone Verzion Support for over two hours they directed me that I could drop the device at any Verzion location. I came with all of the identifiable submission IDs and order numbers, as well as all the number of the account. I was immediately met with rude Customer Service from the first sales associate (I think once he realized I wasn’t purchasing anything) when I asked to speak to the manager Manny, he was condescending and rude. His tone was incredibly brash as a woman I felt intimidated by the way he was speaking to me and extremely uncomfortable. He accused me of lying and raised his tone when i didn’t answer his questions exactly how he wanted. I’ll never ever come to this location ever again and my boss overheard the conversation (as I had her on the phone) and she is considering canceling her Verizon accounts at this point.

Do not buy a phone from this buisness. They will give you a bad phone then tell you to go to Samsung to fix it. No wonder they need security in their store. You've been warned. Phone malfunctioned right after the 30 day return policy. Don't waste your money or time.

you go to the store for help, then the workers make you call Verizon customer service??? what are you working at the store for then?? Also, I went to pick up my phone at 11 am then it was not ready until 6pm. They got my phone out of the back, then said they needed to put it in a locker then I would have to get it out?? You are literally holding my phone just hand it to me!!! Verizon is insane

Rude and disrespectful employees. My family and I have been customers of Verizon’s for 20 years but judging from how this manager acted, I think that relationship will be coming to an end.

I came to this place and asked to add another line, they did not give it to me because it is not added. They are blowjobs, I have the service in my name, so it seems that the employees are not trained or trained for me, I will not return to this place.

I never write reviews but my experience at this store was so bad I have no other option but to write one. If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. The manager is incredibly rude and condescending and I was taken aback by how he spoke to me. I would be much more understanding if there was a reason why he was rude or frustrated but I just came in to get a new phone and ask some questions in a calm, polite manner. Avoid this place at all costs.

The guy who did my intake asked me what my issue was, and then when I started to tell him, he was clearly annoyed that I was going into too much detail. After shrugging off my problem, he quickly told me that there wasn’t really anything the store could do for me, but I could use the landline in the store to call Verizon. He also informed me that he couldn’t make any special exceptions even if somebody on the phone told me he could. Basically, it seemed like he was on a power trip and wasn’t actually trying to offer anyone help (based on the responses he gave two other customers in the time that I was there). I also was a little annoyed that there were no bike racks anywhere outside the store in a bike-friendly city like Chicago. Luckily the agent on the phone was able to address my needs and also took care of the $50 restocking fee that Mr. Unhelpful told me I would not be able to get out of.
Update 8.16.24: I appreciate the response from the "owner," however I find it interesting that they didn't include any direct contact info or instructions on how to seek further support to remedy my concerns. And to clarify (because their follow up was incorrect), I had no issues with the woman on the phone (Lakeisha). My issue was with the agent in-store. It was clear that because I came in needing support and not as a potential sale or new customer, he wasn't interested in helping. I was with T-Mobile for almost 10 years, and this was my first customer experience with Verizon after switching. It just doesn't bode well.

Not open at 9 as indicated on the site, but was open at 9 the day before.....I would give 5 stars because my experience at this location the day before was great.

I’ve been here twice, and both times had pretty awful customer service. I’d skip it and go to a different branch.

Got a new phone hooked up there yesterday. The staff were friendly and greeted me as I walked in. Patricia (I think that was her name I feel bad for not remembering) helped me and she was awesome. I will absolutely be using this Verizon store in the future.

BEWARE - THEY LIE TO GET YOUR MONEY
Came in for a new phone, towards the end of the transaction Sales rep offered a promo on a smart watch, that the watch would be free and I just pay for thr service on it. Tried it out and decided the watch wasn't something I needed. Tried to return the watch or just have the service disconnected since I wasn't going to use it and was told I will owe the entire value of the watch, which was never disclosed to me at any point.
I ended up having to call customer service who was able to disconnect and return the watch, after dealing with this for over an hour.
And the store manager Chris is the cherry on top of that garbage pile of a store. Cocky and arrogant, never tried to help, basically had the "not my problem" attitude and stood by the whole time I was on the phone with customer service, giddy with anticipation that I would be told the same thing. Glad he was proven wrong and only made to look even more like a jerk.
If not for the customer service rep I spoke to on the phone, I definitely would've canceled my service and moved to another cell phone provider.

They are very racist at this store!!!!!! The sales associate Alex treated me and my father very poorly because we are black. This is very unacceptable. Today I have visited Verizon to become a new client, and I was served by 2 Chris, so i worry about my personal information, because Chris took all my information tax id, ssn, address, phone number and made pictures of id, after he called another Chris who made same thing, after they both went to the employee room for the phone, but Chris has picked up the paper with all my information after they came back with phone but without paper with my personal information, when I have asked he bring it back and I wanted to take it, but he said that he still need this paper, why he left my paper in another room and after said that he still need it, when I asked it they wasn’t happy with it, and started saying about safety but there was only me, 2 Chris and security, and if he worried about safety why he left paper in another room, and was saying about that security guy working for police like that it will calm down me, I hope cameras was working and you can check what they did in another room with my personal information and delete the information I provided for registration
