I have never had a more awful customer service experience than what I had at this store, and what it has set off has been countless hours of painful and taxing efforts to try and resolve not only the initial problem I went in to fix, but also a number of compounding issues that arose as a result of having to deal with online services, just because of the sheer lack of professionalism at this store. I will preface this by saying that at this point, I have left Verizon and have been promised that I received the final bill on three separate occasions, each at incremental amounts, something I'm still dealing with to this day. But I will leave that for another time. I will also say that I have personally worked in customer service in my life before becoming a CPA and have a strong compassion and understanding for the kind of personal effort it takes. As such, I have never written a negative review. I initially held back from doing so, but the fact that I'm still dealing with problems since I walked into the store on January 12 and since having to cancel the whole service on January 20 just because they didn't want to do their job deserves one. I went into my local neighborhood Verizon store in Andersonville to address network issues and billing considerations as network had been fairly spotty to say the least and my bill had been going up and down month to month with no change to actual plan. From the start, I was never properly greeted, so I just hovered around waiting for someone to talk to me. When the employee in the picture below had a break from his customer who was walking around the store, I got closer to him, and without me saying a word, he said he'd help me when he can in a very off-putting way. So I stand there by the counter waiting in silence and catching up on my emails because I just got back from a trip so I read something and sighed, realizing how much work I had to do. At this point, this man turns to me and says "I can give you other Verizon locations if you're in such a hurry". I had to pause for a moment in disbelief because at first I wasn't even sure why he'd say something like that, and when I processed, I simply replied "I haven't said a single word", to which he said "yea but you're standing there and you have this hostile, negative energy and we don't need that, you can go somewhere else, this is going to take a while." Mind you this is now mid-conversation with his own customer that he's supposed to be attending, so everyone in the store literally stopped to look at me. I'm completely baffled and respond " Why would I go somewhere else? I live right here." He was basically like I don't know what to tell you. Honestly, just review the cameras, I may have had to paraphrase a word or two, but this is literally happened. I think at one point he even said you can go. No one even asked me what I was there, for. I was waiting in silence when this man turns to me to belittle me. For my own peace of mind, and probably my ego, I wanted to sit there and wait, but I couldn't believe how badly I was treated so I just walked out while saying thank you so much for your help. As a result, he's single handedly made my life miserable in having to deal with a bunch of cascading issues coming out of that when it could've simply been a conversation. Thank you for your service.

Manny is the BEST!!! Our business was searching for a good deal on internet and mobile phone, and we were fluctuating between various different companies. Not only is Verizon’s service stellar, but this particular location has top notch service! Manny was extremely patient and persistent with our case, and it couldn’t have been done without his help. How disappointing to learn that travel plan credits were not applied, you erroneously signed me up for "mobile protect" insurance for the phone when I specifically declined, and that you changed my plan without my permission. My new bill was going to be $27 higher per month than my old bill. I am sorry if I wasn't a lucrative enough deal for you so you had to find other ways to make me pay. Fortunately I was able to speak with someone at Verizon who removed the phone insurance and reverted me to my original plan. This company, to whom I have been loyal to for 30 years, feels more like Comcast/Xfinity with the stealth ways of withholding information and pages of fees and charges that make my stomach churn. BTW, you also sicked your home wifi people on me when I told you in the store I do not need such service. Warning: take notes and get your promises in writing.

My phone was stolen! Luckily I came into this store! I was immediately greeted by Manny (the store manager) and the rest of the staff. I was given all the information I needed to handle the situation. Upon receiving my replacement phone I was again helped by Manny, who helped me set up my new device and made sure everything was working fine before I left the store. Excellent service, very kind workers. Makes all the difference! Thank you!
