“I needed to rent a truck for 8/1/2026. The 10 foot truck I reserved was not available for the time slot I was promised. After approximately 4 minutes after getting off the phone with U-haul staff, I received a phone call saying that a 15 foot truck became available and was offered the larger truck for the same price as the 10 foot truck. I truly appreciate that accommodation as I needed to move out of my apartment that day to avoid additional charges. Thank you so much!”

“Here, this workshop for me is very special, the people, the man, the owner, very kind, very attentive, and well, I'm going to go. I have been going for many years, and honestly, the man is a very good person. The workers, the few that there are, are very kind and well. Honestly, they are very upright because when you drive a car and you think it is not right, they always try to make sure your car is in perfect condition and they are also people who, when someone goes and says this is not good, the man always tries to fix the problem and That counts a lot like me, well, I went because I had already bought my battery there and the very kind man still did not have the coverage and he was very kind. He changed it for me and well, they are small things that one as a buyer or client Well, look for attention And the details are when you return. Honestly, I have been going to that workshop for about 20 years exactly and sincerely, you return to where they treat you well and give you good service and that the people are aware. I recommend it to you. Thank you very much.”
“Here’s a couple things. The guy who got me set up with a vehicle was great. The 1st truck was not the van I’d signed up for, and had no working a/c and the check engine light was on. I declined to drive that one. The one I ended up with was okay, but the steering wheel was sticky. I think just from age. All in all it was an okay experience. I just wish it’d been a van. I did not like driving a huge truck in Chicago.”

“I've rented my share of trucks,, vans and trailers and my experience at Uhaul in Lincoln Park was the best! I specifically reserved here because I wanted to be sure to get a cargo van, not whatever was available at a random garage. We arrived right at opening on a Friday and checked out within minutes. The van we rented was ready to go - clean and easy to drive. We returned it 11 hours later (had rented it for the day, so 24 hours) and return was easy peasy. The people who work at this location are friendly and helpful and the equipment was excellent! Thank you, Uhaul of Lincoln Park!”

“Nice, friendly staff. Perfect location and storage space sizes. Very dissapointed they honored web rates to get my business for larger storage, but when i was ready to downsize to a smaller storage space they woule not honor web rates which were half the price I'm now paying for a much smaller space. Since I couldn't afford to rent another truck and open a new contract at another one of their locations I'm still stuck with a non-competitive price, which is really frustrating. There was some water leaks over my initial space but luckily I had mostly plastic bins, one box did have water damage to which I had stuffed animals in it.”
