I have had many sets of bifocal lenses made for existing frames. The turnaround time has been reasonable. They have a generous replacement policy if the prescription turns out to be incorrect. This applies even if they didn't generate the prescription.

I had an emergency and literally needed a pair of glasses RIGHT away. I called around 9:30 am and they were able to get me in by 10. Left with my pair of glasses by 12:30!!
