I was at the WALLGREENS AT 63rd & Austin for a covid test. There we're 2 cars ahead of me getting covid tests also. I patiently waited for my turn. When it was my turn the people in the cars behind me started honking their horns. Could you please put a sign up in the drive thru window that people getting void test HAVE TO GO THRU THE DRIVE UP. If these ignorant people are in such a big hurry they can go into the store to pick up their prescriptions. I had a doctors appointment that required I have a covid test before coming. Thank you!

Hey, Walgreens, seniors who are disabled need their meds and can't be getting out of their cars to come inside. How can you open from 8-10a for prescription pick-up and utilize the window all day for covid tests? I came there 5 times last week before I banged on the window and told the pharmacy to give me my prescription. Why should everyone be inconvenienced and then you guys won't even pick up the phone? I've been there twice this week for my meds. I have a knee injury and you're holding my anti inflammatory meds hostage with this nonsense! I can't get out of the car and walk through the store ABC's stand there for 30 mins because you guys are too slow. Tomorrow I'll be banging on the window again for my meds. This is some BS. Open the window for covid tests and med pick-up you morons!

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE,!!! The drive thru is often closed which makes it very difficult for elderly or disabled to get needed medicines. Today I went to pick up my script. Drive thru closed...understaffed as usual. It took them 25 minutes to answer the phone as well. I did finally get my script in the drive thru after talking to the actual pharmacist and explaining the situation. This is not the first time this has happened. I hate this store. Too bad it's so close to my house.

I accompanied hubby to this, my local Walgreens, for his first COVID19 injection. Appointments were made through the Cook County partner web site. After many attempts, we were successful in scheduling the appointments! We were surprised that dose #2 will be at a different but nearby location. The registration process at the pharmacy was well organized and went smoothly. Touch free temp was checked to rule out illness, and a short questionnaire was completed. There's a private room, where pharmacist Jason provided pertinent info and answered all of our questions. We remained for a brief period to observe for untoward reactions to the vaccine. All told, the staff, the process, the paperwork, and injection were delivered in a polite, compassionate, efficient, and competent manner. Great job, Walgreens!

Thankfully this Walgreens wasn't looted. They are always restocked and cleaned. Sometimes a little busier than usual but staff is always nice.

The Austin and 63rd.st. Store has one great pharmacist, Carolyn , after she had seen I'd been waiting for my medication for over (12) but was promised in (2) by another pharmacist... well I heard Carolyn order it over the phone, and she'd be off the next day , so I was to ask for another pharmacy staff member, and it going on the (14) day of being off a very detrimental medication for (3) of my Spinal surgeries, but no medication NOT EVEN A CALL , PROFESSIONAL "NOT "!!! If it weren't for Carolyn or the fact I built that store , I'd only go there for beer and wine... BUYER BEWARE Carolyn did a great job of helping me stay on track with the meds I'm taking and Now that she is gone Jason has done a phenomenal job in filling her shoes he is one of the most professional courteous and honest pharmacist I've ever met in my life like I said with my career in 34 years building Walgreen stores I've seen is it all if you are ever in dire need and in the area ask for Jason and 63rd & Austin at the Walgreens

Online order tells me my photo order will be ready at 10:15, I get there at 10:40 and it hasn't even been started. Plus I was told it would take at least 25 minutes - I ordered it early and requested a specific time for a reason. I wasn't able to stay or make it back in 25 minutes that morning, so I checked yelp for their hours that evening. They were suppose to be open until 10pm, I got there at 9:30 and the store was already closed. This wasn't the first time it's happened to me with this store so hence why I finally decided to write this review...
